The Pixel Watch 3 is one of the best smartwatches you can buy, even at full price. But Google is essentially giving you the smartwatch for free with this great trade-in deal.
We’ve already seen some pretty good trade-in deals on the Google Store, and you can get the Pixel 8a for just £12 right now, but with this US offer you get the latest flagship for nothing.
Google is offering a trade-in of up to $300 for the Pixel Watch 3. Since it currently starts at $279.99 for the 41mm Wi-Fi model, you won’t pay anything if you opt for the cheapest version.
To get the full discount, you must trade in the Apple Watch Ultra 2. There are several offers available on smartwatches from Google, Apple, Samsung, Fitbit and Garmin. Even if you don’t get the Pixel Watch 3 for free, you can get it at a significant discount on top of the existing $70 price drop.
Those who choose an LTE model get two years of free data via Google Fi Wireless. However, there are some caveats to the mobile data element, as my colleague Michael Crider explains.
In the UK, Google is offering up to £260, which again applies to the Ultra 2. Since the watch starts at £279, that means it only costs £19. Again, there are plenty of alternatives that will give you a decent discount.
But even if you’d rather not trade anything down, the Pixel Watch 3 still has its lowest price ever.
