A prisoner who has just been arrested for possession of weapons that Tuesday was screwed out of an upper Manhattan Medical Center into a hospital dress – the second escaped prisoner of the city in as many weeks, the police say.

Eric Cruz, 29, ran away from NewYork-Presbyterian / Columbia University Irving Medical Center in West 168th Street near Broadway around 8:45 am, the police said.

He received a medical treatment in the Washington Heights facility about 11 hours after he was a few blocks on a rap of possession of weapons, the authorities said.

Cruz is also confronted with an accusation of non-general-general supplier, the police said.

The suspect, who was last seen a hospital dress, may have fled in a nearby metro station and is still on the lamb, the police said.

The 168th Street A, C and 1 train station is a stone’s throw from the hospital.

Cruz’s escape came less than a week after Gilberto Sanchez, 50 – who was caught on Petit Larceny and other charges – escaped from the Brooklyn Hospital Center on Thursday on Thursday, Cops said.

The police later got him that night in Bergen and Dean Streets in Boerum Hill, according to the police.
