GWM still looks at luxurious plug-in hybrid land cruiser rival for Australia

GWMs spin-off brand Tank the game revealed Tank 700 In 2023, and according to Australian managers, it is still planned for local launch.

In China, the Tank 700 is currently only offered with a HI4-T-TRIVE LINE, which is GWM speak for a plug-in hybrid (PHEV).

The Tank 700 HI4-T uses a 3.0-liter Twin-Turbo V6 petrol engine that makes 268 kW and 500 Nm. It is supplemented with an electric motor that increases the total system of the system to 386 kW power and 750 Nm of torque.

Drive is sent via an automatic transmission with nine gears to a four -wheel drive system.

The tank 700 offers air suspension, electromagnetic shock absorbers and a decoupling stabilization bar for a larger off-road power.

It measures 5113 mm long, 2061 mm wide and 1952 mm long on a 3000 mm wheelbase. For reference, a Toyota Landcruiser 300 series measures 5015 mm long, 2000 mm wide and 1950 mm long on a wheelbase of 2850 mm.

As it looks now, GWM currently offers two tank products in Australia: De Tank 300 and Tank 500.

The first recently received a turbo diesel engine option locally and the latter will receive a HI-4T PHEV Powertrain option in the fourth quarter of 2025.

The tank 400, with also a wealth, aggressive styling as the tank 700, is not confirmed for our market, while the flag ship 800 so far has been unveiled in concept -form.
