The hard-preaching crypto-king accused of sadistic torture of an Italian millionaire for his Bitcoin password Haggard appeared when he stood opposite a judge in Manhattan Court on Friday.
William Duplession, 33, attracted crumpled prison robe in the Criminal Court in Manhattan while waiting for an indictment in the shocking kidnapping case.
The colossal, 6-foot-5-inch duplession, together with fellow crypto trader John Woeltz, 37, is accused of keeping Turin-Kingman Michael Valentino Tofrasto Carturan Captive in a chic Soho-Heerenhuis for almost three weeks.
Carturan, 28, was subjected to horrible torture, including cut with a chainsaw, before making a dramatic escape on 23 May.
Woeltz was arrested in his bathrobe that day, while Duplession surrendered this week after partying in the Hamptons.
The renowned party Dierenduplession seemed worse for wear during his first hearing Tuesday, with bags under his eyes and a persistent frown.
The alleged crypto crawling, which is held without bail, still seemed tired and confused on Friday.
His lawyer, Sam Talkin, did not comment after the hearing.
The office of the public prosecutor in Manhattan later announced on Friday that it had won an indictment against duplession.
It remains sealed until his preliminary guide on 11 June.
