Hilaria Baldwin tries to use her followers on Instagram to help her and Alec Baldwin in their desperate search for a buyer for their $20 million Hamptons mansion, turning to the social media platform to share a personal promo video for the sprawling property.
The 42-year-old mother of seven and her actor husband, 67, have spent nearly four years trying to sell their 10-acre Amagansett home, which they first put on the market for the lofty price of $29 million in 2022.
Since then, the impressive abode has been on and off the market several times as the Baldwins yo-yoed on their decision to sell it. During that time, the price has been drastically reduced, with the most recent listing on December 3 asking $21 million, which was reduced to $19.99 million within weeks of going live.
But that discount doesn’t appear to have been enough — and the house, which Alec bought in 1995 for just $1.75 million, has remained on the market for the lower price since Jan. 7.
Now Hilaria is taking matters into her own hands by calling on her 1 million Instagram followers to help her and Alec, who also owns a palatial apartment in New York City, find new owners for their “piece of paradise.”

In a video on her account, which Hilaria filmed herself, the former “Dancing With the Stars” contestant touts her favorite features of the property, including its proximity to the beach, its privacy, the size of the lot and the many memories she and her family have made there.
“You know how much we love the Hamptons, we’ve made the most amazing memories in our house,” she begins the clip, before explaining that they only decided to sell the property because the family is “on a new adventure” that she can’t reveal the details of yet.
“We spend the summers at our pool. We go to the beach which is really close to where we are. The kids go camping there. … It’s such an amazing, beautiful place,” she continued.
She then shared their listing agent details, Scott Bradley with Saunders & Associates, before urging her followers to scroll through images of the property in her post – while noting that the link to the listing has been added to her bio.
“Our family is going on a new adventure, which means we’re selling our Hamptons home,” she wrote in the accompanying caption. “It’s bittersweet because we’ve made so many great memories there, and we’re looking forward to our next chapter! While we’re sad to leave it, we know the next owners will love it as much as we do… so I wanted to share it here… it truly is a slice of paradise.”
“Link in my bio and you can contact Scott Bradley at Saunders & Associates with any questions.”
This isn’t the first time the couple has tried to use their celebrity status to help them in their search for a buyer; in January 2024, Alec appeared in a promotional video for the property that was posted on YouTube through their listing agent.
In the clip, the actor was seen walking around the local community before discussing his favorite memories and features of the property.

The real estate agent — who was familiar with the Baldwin property — added that the home itself would likely be viewed as a fixer-upper by many buyers, as it requires some updates.
But again, that tactic failed to attract anyone willing to look for the property – which was for sale at the time for the lower price of $18.99 million.
On paper, the couple’s five-bedroom home appears to offer everything someone could look for in an idyllic Hamptons retreat, including plenty of space on the lot for expansion, including the addition of a tennis court and a guesthouse, as well as an area zoned as a potential spot for a horse stable.
According to the listing, plans have also been drawn up for an extension to the main home, which would add “two more bedrooms, plus a formal dining room, conservatory and large screened-in veranda.”
The property already comes complete with a huge eat-in kitchen, private wood-panelled library, cinema and wine tasting room, as well as outdoor entertainment areas including a swimming pool and pavilion with a fireplace.
However, property experts have previously revealed that there may be other barriers preventing a potential buyer from coming forward.
The first, thus Jenny Lenzdirector of Dolly Lenz Real Estate, is the location, which she says “is not considered a prime location for most buyers.”
“Although Amagansett is trendy and idyllic, this property is located north of the highway and off the beaten path, yet it is priced as if it were on a prime street in East Hampton or Southampton,” Lenz explained in July 2024, when the home was still on the market for just under $19 million.

“The house is quite dated for today’s market,” she said. “Buyers in this area are looking for more modern styles and new construction or recently renovated homes.”
Finally, there was the “ick” factor that Lenz says comes from the house’s association with a celebrity couple as polarizing as Alec and Hilaria.
The home’s first appearance on the market in 2022 came just a few months after Alec was involved in a fatal shooting in October 2021 on the set of his film “Rust,” in which cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was killed after a live round was fired from a gun the actor was using as a prop.
Alec was initially charged with involuntary manslaughter in January 2023, along with a gunsmith Hannah Gutierrez-Reedand although prosecutors ultimately dismissed all charges against him, Lenz says the stigma surrounding the actor — and his home — persisted.
“The celebrity connection in this case is probably a disadvantage for most buyers,” Lenz said in July 2024. “Normally, a property linked to an A-list star would command a premium. Given the negative publicity surrounding [him] … [his] connection and active participation in the marketing of the home is likely a disadvantage and clients have suggested it has an ‘ick’ factor.”
Hilaria has also had her fair share of negative publicity in recent months after being revealed as one of the many celebrities competing on the final season of ‘Dancing With the Stars’.
She was the fourth contestant to be eliminated, despite consistently high scores from the judges, and later said during an Instagram Live that she had been “bullied off the show.”
She later clarified her comments to the host during an appearance on the “Too Much” podcast Emma Paige Klipstein that she felt some viewers had taken part in a targeted campaign to remove her from the show.
“They’re going to vote for all the couples except me, or for person
“And I don’t care. I’m going to be the person crying in front of the whole world because I’m going to show my humanity. Some people are going to like that and some people are going to make fun of me more for that,” she added.
