With important rumors that suggest that major upgrades in the battery capacity, processing power and the overall user experience De Magic V4 can be a game-changer in the foldable market.
Here is everything we know so far about the release date, prices and specifications.
When will the Honor Magic V4 be released?
According to Telefoonarena, the device is tipped to make its debut July 2025 In China. This is in line with the launch time line of its predecessor, the Magic V3, which arrived in July last year.

As usual, the device is not expected to be sold in the US.
How much does the Honor Magic V4 cost?
The Magic V3 was launched at £ 1,699.99 in the UK and, given the advanced hardware and foldable form factor, the Magic V4 will probably be priced in the same range.
However, with potential improvements in the battery capacity, processing capacity and other hardware upgrades, no light price increase cannot be excluded.
If Honor manages to remain competitive the prices and at the same time improve important functions, this can strengthen the standing folding rivals, such as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and OnePlus Open 2.
What specifications and functions does the Honor Magic V4 have?
Design
The Magic V3 was celebrated as the thinnest foldable book style on the market, just 9.2 mm when folded.
Honor will probably be aimed at maintaining this slender and lightweight design for the Magic V4, making it possible to stay even thinner to stay ahead of competitors.
In view of the fact that Oppo works on an even thinner foldable with the Find N5 (probably the Chinese version of the OnePlus Open 2), Honor can push the limits of engineering to retain its lead in this regard.

Materials are likely to remain premium, whereby the honor continues to use its ‘super steel’ hinge for sustainability.
The IPX8 water resistance of the Magic V3 is also expected to be transferred, although dust resistance can still be a challenge for even the best folding phones.
Reproduction
The folding fabrics of Honor have impressive displays and the Magic V4 should not be an exception.
It can contain a 6.43-inch LTPO OLED cover display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, similar to the magical V3.

The inside display can also remain an almost square OLED panel of 7.92 inches, able to dynamically adjust between 1-120Hz for better power efficiency.
Performance
According to Digital Chat Station, the Magic V4 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, the same as the current flagship Magic 7 Pro.
It is expected that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in the Magic V3 will result in significant performance extensions compared to the Snapdragon 8. The dedication of Honor to performance on flagship level means that the device will probably have at least 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage.

Cooling improvements will also be essential, because folding devices can struggle with persistent powerful workloads because of their compact form factor.
Cameras
The Magic V3 contained a 50MP main sensor, a 50Mp 3.5x optical zoom telephone -lens and a 40Mp ultrawide sensor.
Although these specifications were impressive, the honor could improve them by introducing a larger sensor for better performance with little light or an improved telephoto lens with a 5x or higher optical zoom.

Selfie cameras are likely to remain double 20MP sensors, a cover display and one on the inner screen, which offers a solid image quality for video calls and social media content.
Battery and charging
According to the Chinese Leaker Smart Pikachu Test Honor a 6000 mAh battery for the folding, which would be a huge leap of the 5,150 mAh battery in the Magic V3.
If it is true, this would give the honor a serious advantage in the endurance of the battery, in which a common weakness of folding devices is tackled.

Fast charging must remain an important feature, charge wired with 66W and 50W wirelessly charging that is expected to be transferred.
Given the increase in battery size, improved loading speeds can also be in the making.
Software
The Magic V4 is probably launched with Magicos 9, based on Android 15, which introduces refinements in multitasking and AI-driven functions.
However, honor should not yet confirm its long-term software support plans.
