I’ve been in the adult industry for a long time and have a bad habit of assuming things are common knowledge. Last month I was reminded that this is not always the case.
I recently checked her OnlyFans account and my jaw dropped to the floor when I discovered that she wasn’t following her lapsed users.
Why is this a big problem?
Well, she has 250 subscribers, which is quite a number, where she messages them en masse with a new video every week.
But she has over 7,000 lapsed subscribers. 7,000 potential buyers who may no longer pay to join her page, but who could very well buy her video every week.
Thing of your OnlyFans page like a store like Best Buy. The more people who come in, the more people there are who might buy something from your store today.
If only 250 people come in, you might be able to make a few sales. But if 7,250 people come to your store, you’re much more likely to generate sales.
It’s simple math. More people = more potential sales.
In my friend’s case, it took some time to track all those lapsed users, actually she’s still at it. It will take her about two months to follow them all, as she can only follow 100 per day due to OnlyFans’ limited slots. But based on what she did in the first month alone, she has already doubled her monthly income.
How it works.
Log into your Onlyfans account and go to https://onlyfans.com/my/collections/user-lists/subscribers.
Click the button that says “Expired” and scroll down (yes, this takes a while) until you find someone who says “follow” and click that button to follow them.
Repeat this about 100 times, and eventually only fans will tell you that you’ve reached your limit for the day. Repeat this every 24 hours.
Next, go to your OnlyFans setting, specifically https://onlyfans.com/my/settings/fans.
You want to make sure that you automatically follow anyone who joins your page. But you also want to make sure that you unfollow them once their membership expires.
As you can see in my example image, you want to turn the first one on and the second one off.
Now when you send a mass DM, you’re sending it not only to your ‘Fans’, but also to your ‘Following’.
You can also use this list to send promotions to get them to resubscribe to your profile. In that case, you can send a mass DM to your ‘followers’ and exclude ‘fans’. This means it will be sent to everyone you follow except those on your fan list. Fans are those who are your current subscribers. It is a list automatically created by OnlyFans.
Let’s say you’re going to do a live show on Friday. DM all your lapsed users (those on your next list) and be like Hey, if you join my page again, you can enjoy my live show for free!
But that’s just extra. The real point is to DM all those old subscribers and get them to buy your videos. That will increase your income enormously.
