How Stars Like Cardi B and Megan Fox Use the Boob Squeeze as the Ultimate A-List Status Symbol and It's NOT for Men

Celebrities are increasingly embracing their inner goddess in many bold and striking ways.

Whether they’re walking the red carpet or snapping a quick selfie for their millions of Instagram followers, A-listers and reality stars alike have adopted the “up” pose.

They hold their breasts with both hands and push them towards the camera for a striking effect.

But there’s more to the pose than meets the eye.

Body language expert Judi James believes that the “instantly upstaging trick” is seen as a status symbol.

She says: “You will find that the squeezing motion improves the appearance of the breasts, making them look fuller, firmer and rounder, with a deeper cleavage.

“The deeper the cleavage, the more intense the imitation of the real sexual arousal feature, the butt.

“In body language terms, it is traditionally a teasing, provocative display aimed at arousing sexual interest and admiration.

“As a flirtatious act of self-touch, it can imply or be read as an unsubtle ‘your hands here’ message, such as stroking legs or touching lips to get the man to imagine what that act might feel like.

“But there are many more current implications for breast squeezing.

“For a true A-star, the message is more ironic: ‘I got here through talent, not because of it!’

“Or it could be a quasi-aggressive power move, as in ‘They’re mine!’ You can look, but you can never touch!’

“Breast squeezing can also be seen as the new status symbol.

“Many celebrities have paid good money to have their breasts enlarged, and showing off the expensive, high-end work can be as symbolic as showing off a designer watch or handbag.”

Here, Judi reveals to YASMIN HARISHA the meaning behind other female celebrities who think this pose is the breast.

Cardi B

The proud pose

Cardi B celebrated her birthday by wearing a revealing dress and giving herself an uplift[/caption]

The 32-year-old rapper adapted the pose as she celebrated her birthday this year.

She took to Instagram to reveal she was wearing her ‘tiny little’ dress after having to change because her old outfit didn’t have ‘enough fabric’.

Cardi B posed for the camera to show off her black cut-out dress that showed off her cleavage.

Judi says: “Cardi’s auto-contact gesture here is dissociative, meaning that she lifts and promotes the breasts by pushing them forward.

This ‘spontaneous’ breast grab is more like a protection ritual than an enhancement or show-off of the breasts

“Her pointed fingers are spread and the fingertips are bent back, meaning the touch is distant and impersonal, as if she were presenting objects to the camera rather than body parts, in a signal of current.

“She looks proud of her breasts, but this is a gesture of boasting rather than a show of mutual arousal.”

Cate Blanchette

The intellectual plague

Cate Blanchette is ‘spontaneous’ with her red carpet pose[/caption]

While attending the 81st Venice Film Festival, Cate looked sophisticated as she cupped her breasts.

The actress, 55, rocked a v-neck black blazer and trousers on the red carpet.

Judi says: “Cate is a quality actor with no history of overt sexual signaling to get attention.

“This ‘spontaneous’ breast grab looks more like a protection ritual than an enhancement or show-off of the breasts.

‘Her jacket looks very low cut at the front and this may have been an instinctive concealment to check she wasn’t flashing at the cameras.

“It’s an intellectual tease, though, as she still draws attention to her cleavage even though she pretends to hide it here.”

Madonna

The ‘fake’ pose

Madonna’s pose suggests that she is offering us temptation[/caption]

She’s become known for her ‘out there’ photos on Instagram, so it’s no wonder Madonna joined in on the trend.

And it looks like the 66-year-old singer had her hands full with this photo.

Judi says: “Madonna’s cupping pose with both hands is photographed from above, making her look accommodating and suggestive, as if advertising her sexuality to the viewer.

“Since it’s Madonna doing the pose, it’s ironic, ‘fake’ advertising from one of the most unapproachable, unattainable women in the world.

“Her pose suggests she is offering us seduction, but the looks are all part of the A-list brand and are designed to shock rather than actually flirt.”

Kylie Jenner

The provocative

Kylie Jenner is ‘provocative’ despite a casual pose[/caption]

She’s a mother of two and a self-made billionaire, so it’s no surprise that she might not always be ready for a completely made-up Instagram photo.

Even though we can’t see her face and she quickly snapped this photo right after showering, Kylie still shows she’s on trend with this. get it.

This pose looks undeniably sexy, but there is tension in both fingers

Judi notes: “This is a casual-looking ‘just out of the shower and drinking coffee’ pose, which makes the supporting arm look like it has a practical function.

“She holds the towel in place while supporting the breasts (thus avoiding accidents when dipping or dipping with the hot drink).

“But Kylie leans forward and exposes her neck at the same time, making this a provocative, teasing display that reminds the viewer of her breasts.”

Beyoncé

The statement pose

When it comes to making a statement, Beyonce always knows how to do it.

The 43-year-old went for a big surprise when she dressed up as Pamela Anderson for Halloween this year.

Judi says: “This pose looks undeniably sexy, but there is tension in both fingers.

“The cupping looks functional in terms of pressing the breasts together to enhance the cleavage.

“The way the thumbs point down is not the ‘normal’ way of cupping, which could indicate that it doesn’t come naturally to her.”

Megan Fox

The Rock Chick pose

This actress is never one to shy away from the camera, especially when it comes to showing off her assets.

Megan, 38, struck the pose while wearing a black corset and was cheeky with it too.

Judi notes: “This chest squeeze is all about confidence and challenge.

She shows that she doesn’t have to squeeze or cup these beauties

“The hands are held over the breasts, but not grasped or changed shape by lifting or squeezing them.

“The fingers are spread to create a ‘prison bars’ feature and the long claws are extended like cat claws to suggest ‘This girl might bite’.”

Addison Rae

This American singer and TikTok sensation, Addison Rae is also grabbing onto the trend.

The 24-year-old showed off her enviable abs by giving herself a lift.

“This is a complex breast-squeezing ritual in which the hands grip the ribs under the breasts while the breasts themselves are squeezed with what looks like duct tape,” says Judi.

“The tape looks flattening and restrictive, like a nipple blindfold, and the hands look awkward, more like a change of direction gesture than a sign of any pleasure.

“The way her head is tilted back suggests a desire to present this as a sexual flirting ritual, but it’s a look that could probably be called niche.”

Helen Flanagan

The status pose

Helen Flanagan subtly plays on the trend as she models a bikini[/caption]

Helen Flanagan is never one to shy away from embracing her skin for a photo.

The mother of three matched the striking pose and modeled a fierce one pink bikini.

Judi says: “Helen keeps her breasts center stage here, pointing them straight at the camera and at the same time pretending to do a bit of window dressing by raising her hands in what appears to be rituals of adjustment to her pink bikini.

“Her head tilt is a questioning gesture and her smile suggests purity proud with her couple here.

“She shows that she doesn’t have to pinch or cup these beauties, they look perfect without any enhancement, her hands just point the viewer towards them.”

How to pose like a celebrity

Body positive influencer Tally sharp has revealed how to perfect a celebrity-inspired pose.

Form

The perfect photo contains SHAPE and use your body or an outfit to accentuate this.

Bikinis and lingerie work well for these photos, and it’s best to use them as props; these will also help define your shape.

Grab your bikini and do a hip raise, or adjust the side of your bikini while gently shaping your face with the other hand, or grab the hair on either side of your head as if it were a natural sweeping motion.

Then put one leg in front of the other. It’s about diversity in the image.

Corner

Know which angels you like. It’s so funny when I meet someone who follows me Instagram they always say: ‘You’re so much smaller in real life, I thought you were tall!’

This always makes me laugh because the angle I use is hip height, slightly upward, which elongates the image, making me look taller.

So learn with a friend which angles you like, and once you find them, it will become a lot easier.

Practice makes perfect

Try sitting, standing, lying down and any other level you can think of.

One thing I strive for is that if it doesn’t work and we don’t get the right shot: sit down or change the background.
