The next Nintendo Direct presentation takes place today and will be the official launch for the long-awaited Switch 2 console.
The Japanese gaming giant announced the console a few weeks ago, but now we have to get the full details, including the price, specifications, date for sales and launch titles.

When is the Nintendo Switch 2 directly?
The next Nintendo will take place today, Wednesday 2 April at 2:00 PM UK Time (BST). Here are the starting times for other locations:
- US West Coast: 6:00 am PT
- US East Coast: 9:00 am et
- Midden -Europe: 15:00 CET
As usual, Nintendo is a bit cautious about what the stream will include, simply saying that it is “a closer look at Nintendo Switch 2!” We do know that it will take about an hour, so there will be enough details.

What is Nintendo direct?
Nintendo Direct is the way of the legendary Japanese gaming company to communicate with both the press and fans. It is for making news announcements for upcoming games.
The announcements can vary, from new gameplay positions to new accessories and even release date announcements. Previously, Nintendo used earlier direct presentations to reveal the Nintendo switch, as well as many of his best Nintendo Switch games.
Occasionally there will be a special Pokémon presents stream, especially for the franchise, or certain games such as Smash Bros and Animal Crossing.
