Huawei has officially announced the Huawei Watch 5 as his flagship smartwatch in addition to the more budget -friendly Fit 4 and Fit 4 Pro Activity Tracker, Smartwatch Hybrids.
The watch 5 arrives in two different sizes, optional titanium housing and a new ‘x-tap’ sensor, while the Fit 4 series offers a very Apple Watch and Ultra-like styling.
To compete better, such as Apple, Samsung Galaxy Watch and Google Pixel Watch, Huawei now offers the Watch 5 in sizes 42 or 46 mm.
The 42 mm version is supplied in four different looks with all with a stainless steel cupboard. The 46 mm model is also available in four colors and including a titanium option if you are willing to splash.
All models have a new generation of the LTPO display technology that Huawei has moved to in recent years, which now contains a curvier sapphire glass to offer strong protection against scratches.
Apart from the new sizes, the Headline news is the introduction of the new X-tap sensor from Huawei, which can be found on the side of the watch case and consists of printing, ECG and PPG sensors. This new sensor promises more accurate health, including taking blood oxygen measurements from your finger to imitate using a traditional pulse oximeter.

The Watch 5 runs on the latest version of Huawei’s Harmonyos with ESIM support in tow for that more unbound experience. There is also access to the AppGallery App Storefront and you can now use new gesture controls with which you can sleep alarms, process calls or adjust the playing music by sliding your fingers or tapping it twice.
Elsewhere you get access to more than 100 sports modes with improved GPS tracking for water sports. Huawei also contains dual-band GPS to stimulate the accuracy of the outside air in the use of almost high buildings and in deeply wooded areas.
The lifespan of the battery on the watch 5 depends on the case size with the 46 mm version that offers up to 4.5 days with typical use, which is 3 days on the watch 4. You will receive a maximum of 3 days with the 42 mm model with both versions with a smart battery mode that switches to a less powerful battery batter mode when you become low.
This allows the watch to last 7-11 days for any size respectively.
Apple watches or Fit 4?

Huawei
In addition to the Watch 5, Huawei also announced the Watch Fit 4 and a new Watch Fit 4 Pro, with a design and function set that is clearly focused on the series 10 and Apple Watch Ultra 2.
The fit 4 comes in black, gray, purple and white colors, while the pro is available in green, blue or black. All fit models are waterproof up to 50 meters, whereby the Pro also offers a design that is suitable for recreational diving up to 40 meters depth.
There is a 1.82-inch Amoled display on all fit 4-series watches, with the non-Pro Fit 4 all around that touchscreen with aluminum and the pro with titanium. The Pries Display Brightness maximizes a maximum of 3,000 Nits compared to 2,000 Nits on Fit 4.
In terms of functions you get watches with built-in GPS and it is the latest dual-band GPS technology that is also offered on the Pricier Watch 5. Both offer air pressure sensors and improved GPS tracking for water sports such as surfing and rowing.
These are watches that offer the best that Huawei also has to offer when following sleep, whereby the Pro also offers the possibility to keep up with heart rate variability to offer richer stress insights.
Harmonyos performs the software show and gives you access to the AppGallery store via the app, a built-in music player and you can use an AI spokes assistant in combination with a Huawei smartphone.
The great function wins that you make by proceeding with pro is the absorption of an ECG sensor, richer Golf and Diving Co -follows, plus improved mapping -navigation support for activities such as trail running.
