While the TCR racer features significant chassis, body and mechanical upgrades to become competitive, the special edition i30 Sedan N draws inspiration from its track-only sibling without sacrificing its road car capabilities .
This includes the fitment of an adjustable carbon fiber gooseneck rear wing, forged 19-inch wheels (with a design inspired by the wheels of the TCR car) and four-piston front brake calipers, an expansion from the single-pot sliding units on the wheels of the TCR car. current model.
South Korean buyers get to add TCR Edition graphics, while all globally available examples get an Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel with a Performance Blue 12-hour marker, Performance Blue seat belts and unique TCR Edition badging.
There are no changes to the i30 Sedan N’s 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo engine, which produces 206kW and 392Nm in Australia and drives the front wheels via a six-speed manual or eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
