Camilla Araujo remembered how she spent her childhood wearing second -hand clothes, while her mother and dad were worried to offer rent.
For years she saw her immigrant parents – who arrived from Brazil in the US with nothing but $ 300 to their name – intaken to make ends meet.
Camilla was determined to participate and was originally planning to become a doctor before taking a less traditional path.
The influencer of North Carolina, who has nine million followers on her TIKTOK account @Camillaturned to social media instead of a traditional nine to five.
This eventually led her to only fans and now the model raises up to $ 1.5 million a month.
She even retired her parents – Thyago, 50 and Humberta, 49 – and treats them and her brother, Christian, on a lot of luxury.
“Mom, who woke up at 6 am to go to work, woke up at 10 a.m. and called me crying,” Camilla recalled.
“She could not remember the last time she felt so free that I almost burst into tears when she told me this.”
Despite her less luxurious youth, the influencer remembered how her parents protected her and her brother against the hardships.
“I was not robbed of a good childhood,” she said.
“My parents did so great work by not showing that we were struggling financially – but deep inside I knew they had a hard time.
“When I was just a toddler, mum, dad and I lived with my aunt and uncle in one apartment.
“My mother used to work at Subway and she had a second job – while he was pregnant with my brother.”
The family moved seven times in a short period because they could not afford rent.
“Now I pay their bills so that they don’t have to work,” Camilla explained.
“They are ‘retired’, but my parents are not to sit unemployed – so they still choose to work at their cleaning company.
“But especially my mother looks lighter now; she went from cleaning six to seven houses a day with her team and my father, going to vacation and being able to sleep.
“It’s my greatest achievement to give my parents this chance.”
Camilla, who is part of the now famous BOP house-also sometimes called the ‘only fans house’ of her family surprise with gifts that they could only dream of.
“I have my father a brand new Corvette 2024 for his birthday – it’s his dream car,” she said.
“Mother received a pink BMW Cabriolet and my brother Christian gets almost everything he wants.
“I take them on crazy vacations, my family is absolutely spoiled, but I love to give them gifts.”
She explained that her family and her parents in particular “deserve luxury”.
“I can see my family a very different life and it feels great,” she said.
While Camilla dreamed of being a cardiologist, she started a new journey after she participated in a viral Squid game video organized by YouTuber Mr. Beast.
After this appearance, she received 145,000 followers in just 24 hours.
Camilla soon decided to leave the university and spent the next two years working on her goal to become a social media star.
She juggled at night with a bottle service, worked in real estate during the day and filmed content when she could.
But with the tight money and her parents who push her to return to school, Camilla finally chose to join at the beginning of 2023 and the money soon arrived.
“When I earned my first hundred thousand dollars, I just remember crying,” said the content -maker, who also has 4.3 million followers on Instagram @realcamillaara.

“You fall into this endless cycle of pushing and pushing and you can’t stop, because if you stop, you are left behind.
“I never stop thinking about it and how crazy my monthly millionaire salary is, I can’t believe I have done this.”
She explained that she is very grateful for the freedom that her bank balance has given her family.
“I was able to give back to the people who supported me through difficult times,” she said.
“I retired my parents and for family members in Brazil and all friends in need.
“It is sometimes stressful, but there is no better motivation knowing that you can give others peace.”
