Immigration and customs enforcement On Friday requested the help of the public in finding an illegal Jordanian migrant who is said to have invaded a large Navy Corps -based in Virginia last year – and was released by the Biden administration.
“Ice Homeland Security studies need help finding Mohammad Khair Hasan Mohammad Dabous,” ICE said in the notification on X.
Dabous, 28, came in the US as a foreign student on September 11, 2022, but failed to attend lessons, according to ICE.
Dabous and colleague Jordanian National Hasan Yousef Hamdan, 32, were arrested on 3 May 2024, for alleged violation on Marine Corps Base Quantico in Virginia.
Allegedly Dabous rode the base in a box truck with Hamdan in the passenger seat and the Marine Corps police orders refused to stop his vehicle at a checkpoint for inspection.
Officers were forced to use ‘vehicle recognition barriers’ to prevent the Dabous vehicle from continuing.
Both men were held and transferred to ice.
They were broken off the following month after placing bond on their immigration cases.
Hamdan has since been arrested again by ICE, but Dabous remains in general.
Ice believes that Dabous “moved to the Los Angeles region and probably lives in Orange County, Calif.”
The agency, which Dabous describes as an ‘interest person’, asked the public to contact 866-DHS-2-IICE if they have information about his place of residence.
Capt. Michael Curtis, a spokesperson for the base, previously revealed that Dabous told the military police officers who guarded the gateway to “they worked for a company that was eradicated by Amazon and were a delivery to the American post office in the city of Quantico.”
However, the pair missed “approved references” to enter the military installation, Curtis said.
Dabous’ argued that the entire incident was’ due to a language barrier ‘.
