Kelly Brook’s 34FF boob pain, embracing back fat & why sex is better at 40 – the story behind Britain’s ‘sexiest woman’

KELLY Brook is widely considered to be one of the sexiest women on the planet, thanks to her natural beauty and Jessica Rabbit curves.

And now at 45, the star has left fans gawking once again after she stripped off for bikini pics on a romantic holiday with her husband Jeremy Parisi, 39.

The brunette beauty has always been very open about her well-loved figure and has candidly revealed her boob struggles, embracing back fat, and even why sex is better with age.

After seeing her weight fluctuate, the star is still as stunning as ever, but just how has our favourite pin-up changed over the years?

Kelly, who is from Rochester, Kent, started work as a model when she won a beauty competition aged 16 and it wasn’t long until she started appearing in various ad campaigns.

As she got older, her now very famous curves caught the attention of men and women alike and she was soon stripping off for The Sun’s Page 3 and a whole host of lad’s mags.

In 2005, she topped the FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World list, which was said to have polled 15 million people.

But it wasn’t just men who loved her – a poll of over 5,000 women for Grazia magazine considered her to have the best British female body.

Here, we take a look at the SlimFast ambassador’s changing body, as well as her top candid confessions.

34FF Boob struggles

Last year, Kelly Brook opened up on her secret health struggle, admitting that her 34FF breasts have caused her agonising pain.

The 45-year-old model confessed that her ample chest had led to severe back pain and as a result, she was forced to overhaul her lifestyle.

In a candid interview, Kelly admitted to editing her Instagram photos for years to appear slimmer after gaining weight.

However, her ongoing back pain was a constant reminder that she needed to address her health.

The TV star told Closer magazine: “My weight gain was hurting my back. My boobs are really big and that puts pressure on my frame. I ended up at the chiropractor.

“I gained so much weight I was altering my pictures to make myself look slimmer.

“I’ve been taking off 5in from my waist and posting photos of myself from 10 years ago. I was craving the body I used to have.

“I lost my shape. I couldn’t fit anything over my boobs and my waist nearly disappeared.”

Weight gain and cellulite

Not only has Kelly got candid on her boob struggles, but the brunette beauty, who tied the knot with her long-term partner Jeremy Parisi in 2022, after they began dating in 2015, has also set the record straight on her weight gain.

She recognised: “What happened was – I had been living in the countryside for the past few years with Jeremy, and you know we just got into English life, going to the pub, having a pint of Guinness and nice pies.

“Over time, I was putting on the pounds and not really noticing, I was just wearing baggier clothes until one day I came in, bear in mind my boyfriend’s French so his English is a little limited.”

As well as this, she joked: “And I said ‘Oh Jeremy I feel like a balloon’ and he went ‘Oh come here you little balloon’. And so he got the word from me, I don’t even think he knew what a balloon was.”

Not only this, but back in 2020, Kelly opened up on suffering “hurtful” jibes from cruel trolls over her figure – despite looking as incredible as ever after losing two stone.

Kelly told The Sun: “People on the outside noticed my weight gain before I did.

“I’ve always been quite a positive, happy person within my own skin, but when you see things online from trolls saying ‘Kelly’s putting on some timber’ or ‘she’s put on weight’, it’s very hurtful.

“I’ve been in the business for more than 20 years, so people have watched me age.

“When they haven’t seen you for a while and you turn up years older and a few stone heavier it’s going to be a shock for them.”

Like most women, I’ve got cellulite – I don’t look in the mirror and think ‘I’ve done SlimFast so now I’m a Victoria’s Secret Model’

Kelly Brook

At the time, the radio host lost an incredible two stone – and dropped from a size 16 to 12.

She claimed she always embraced her “curves and cellulite” – no matter what the trolls say – but was “feeling fantastic” after embracing a healthier lifestyle.

She continued: “I do get online abuse and I see it, but I try not to take it personally.

“You have to accept when you’re in the public eye, you’re putting yourself out there to be judged and criticised.”

But despite this, she stressed: “I’m feeling confident in my body and happy with the weight I am at the minute. I like being curvy, I like having boobs and a bum.

“Like most women, I’ve got cellulite – I don’t look in the mirror and think ‘I’ve done SlimFast so now I’m a Victoria’s Secret Model’.

“I just look like a normal 40-year-old woman. I look how I should look, it’s not something unattainable.

“I just want to be the best version of myself at my age. That’s my focus.”

Embracing back rolls

It may be 20 years since the media personality was crowned FHM’s Sexiest Woman in the World in 2005, but there’s no doubt she still looks as good as ever.

Kelly, who currently co-presents the Heart London drive show with Jason King, has opened up on embracing her newfound back fat.

Just a few months ago, as reported by The Mirror, Kelly, who is gearing up to run the London Marathon, stressed: “I’m just trying to embrace the changes as I get older.

“I’m not trying to hold on to the body of my 21-year-old self, I’ve got to embrace that it’s different.

“It’s tricky though, I was trying a dress on in a shop the other day and, you know, 20 years ago I’d be able to put anything on and feel fabulous.

“But now my boobs aren’t as high as they once were, I’ve got fat rolls on my back, and this and that – but I just embrace it.

How cutting out sugar can help you lose weight

It might sound obvious, but cutting out sugar can help you lose weight – and this is why

  1. Reduced alorie intake: Sugar is calorie-dense but not nutrient-dense, meaning it provides a lot of calories without making you feel full. By cutting out sugar, you naturally reduce your overall caloric intake, which can create a calorie deficit and lead to weight loss.
  2. Lower Insulin Levels: Consuming sugar, especially in large amounts, causes spikes in blood sugar levels, leading to increased insulin production. Insulin is a hormone that promotes fat storage. By reducing sugar intake, you can help stabilize blood sugar and insulin levels, making it easier for your body to burn fat.
  3. Decreased Cravings: Sugar can be addictive and lead to cravings for more sugary foods. By cutting it out, you may find that your cravings for unhealthy, high-calorie foods decrease, making it easier to stick to a healthier diet.
  4. Improved Satiety: Foods high in sugar are often low in fiber and protein, which are essential for feeling full and satisfied. By replacing sugary foods with more nutrient-dense options like fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains, you can increase your satiety and reduce overall calorie consumption.
  5. Better Nutrient Intake: When you cut out sugary foods, you often make room for more nutritious foods. This can improve your overall diet quality, providing your body with the vitamins and minerals it needs to function optimally, which can support weight loss efforts.
  6. Reduced Fat Storage: High sugar intake, particularly from fructose, can lead to increased fat production in the liver, contributing to weight gain and obesity. Cutting out sugar helps to reduce this effect.
  7. Enhanced Metabolism: Reducing sugar can improve metabolic health, including better insulin sensitivity and lower risk of metabolic syndrome, which can facilitate weight loss.

By cutting out sugar and replacing it with healthier options, you can create a more balanced and sustainable diet that supports weight loss and overall well-being.

“I do think we can be too hard on ourselves though.

“I’ve learned, especially training for the London Marathon, I just want to be fit and strong. I’m no longer into looking a certain way.

“I just want my body to work and be able to do amazing things.”

Discussing her positive mindset shift, the star added: “Feeling fit and healthy comes from looking after yourself.

“Jeremy and I are really good with what we put in our bodies. We make all our own meals, hardly eat out and never really get takeaways.

“We’re disciplined on that front and Jeremy doesn’t even drink alcohol – I’d love to say that’s the case for me [laughs].”

Paparazzi’s rude request

Whilst the broadcaster has been open on weight loss throughout the years, the former glamour model, who was splashed across lads’ mags in the noughties, previously opened up on how her figure has “changed”, saying it has fluctuated for “various reasons.”

When she appeared on an episode of Loose Women last year, Kelly revealed: “When I was 20, it wasn’t difficult to stay thin, because your metabolism works a lot better, you’re younger.

“So I don’t think I was completely aware of how my body was going to change as I got older.

“I could eat whatever I wanted, I was busy, I was running around.

“It definitely caught up with me in my thirties. I just didn’t recognise myself anymore. I didn’t feel good.

“I remember going on a red carpet and I remember the paparazzi asking me to breathe in.

“I walked away from it and thought, I’ve just got to embrace it. I’m not going to go on a crazy diet to try and be that 20-year-old girl because I’m not that. I need to just embrace my body.”

As well as this, in 2020, Kelly was surprisingly charitable when she said she ‘understood’ why faceless internet men gave their unsolicited opinions on her being ‘past it’.

She told MailOnline: “They see me as this 40-year-old fat girl and they’re like no! I get it, it’s funny.

“But people grow up, people get bigger, people change, it happens.

“Men are like “you’re past your best”, or “you were sexy once”, but whatever, you’re always going to get that.

“When you grow up with someone you don’t want them to get older, it’s weird. And I get it, people remember me as this pin up girl.”

Not only this, but in an exclusive chat with The Sun, she admitted: “We’re all getting older, our bodies all change and hormones play a huge part in how we look.

“There have been loads of reasons why my weight has fluctuated over the years – whether that’s being pregnant and having miscarriages, or whether it has been work stress, lifestyle or perimenopause, and living in LA one minute and the UK the next.”

Sex is better at 40

Kelly Brook is learning to accept the changes to her body as she gets older, but she also recognises improvements to her sex life too.

Shortly after celebrating her 40th birthday, the curvaceous star opened up on how sex gets better with age.

She talked candidly about finally feeling good about herself and how her boyfriend likes a “large curvy woman” in bed, as she opened up about her sex life to Vicky Pattison on her podcast, Vicky Pattison: The Secret To.

At the time, she said: “My boyfriend is 35 and he is Italian, so you know he likes the nice large curvy woman so that’s always a good thing!

“Because you get confident. You are not so hung up on stuff. You know what you enjoy.

“You know what you like, so you are not as scared to tell them.
