KERRY Katona has revealed she “didn’t like” her good friend Katie Price as her alter ego Jordan.
But the Atomic Kitten star said they hit it off after they met on I’m A Celeb in 2004 – when Kerry won and Katie met her first husband Peter Andre.

She made the comments as she defended mum-of-five Katie, 46, over the coming time Channel 5 documentary Katie Price: Where have all gone Money Go?, which airs tomorrow evening (September 8).
Kerry, 44, says: “I wasn’t excited about Jordan at all. I didn’t like Jordan. But then I met Kate in the jungle and then I met Kate and I love Kate.
The documentary explores how OnlyFans model Katie – reportedly once worth £45million – blew her fortune and was declared bankrupt twice.
Katie was first declared bankrupt in 2019, owing her creditors £3.2 million, and again earlier this year for an unpaid sum of £760,000. tax account.
She has had her Mucky Mansion near Horsham, West Sussex, repossessed after failing to keep up with mortgage repayments and has been ordered to pay out 40 per cent of her income to creditors.
Katie has been accused of failing to attend previous hearings and was arrested at Heathrow last month after returning from a holiday to Turkey – causing her to miss a High Court bankruptcy hearing.
But Kerry has defended her – and suggested that life in the public eye played a role in her downfall.
Referring to Katie’s third husband Kieran Hayler’s affair with her former best friend Jane Pountney, Kerry says: ‘Before you all start tearing her apart, imagine if that was you.
‘Imagine if your husband had an affair with your best friend, you would be ashamed. Absolutely terrified.
“You probably don’t even want your friends and family to know.
‘But then the whole world knows about it and everyone follows you everywhere.
“You would never leave your house. But we have work to do. This is what we do for a living.”
In the documentary, Kerry also tells how she convinced the former Page 3 model Katie to start selling content on adult subscription site OnlyFans.
She adds: “I introduced Kate to it.
“I was like, ‘Kate, do it. Honest to God, you’d be stupid not to. The photos you put on it Instagramwhy don’t you just put them on OnlyFans and make money from it?’”
