Chicago – an Albany Park -man is accused of murder, accused of being furious with a neighbor he did not know and then put the victim in the middle of the street where they live.
The prosecutors said that Irving Martinez-Hernandez, 30, left his apartment in the 3500-block of West Sunnyside on an electric bicycle around 7:30 PM Tuesday 18 March. He became very quickly involved in an argument with Juan Tello Suarez, 34, who drove home from his work.
Martinez-Hernandez followed Suarez until he parked and showed Video that Martinez-Hernandez put his bike away and returned to the street to confront Suarez, according to public prosecutors. The video also showed that Suarez tried to avoid Martinez-Hernandez by walking around him and crossing the street, said prosecutors, but Martinez-Hernandez repeatedly stepped on his path.
At various points’, a shiny object in the hand of Martinez-Hernandez ‘Glinst’ said in the light, an offer from the office of the Cook County law firm.
Eventually the men came face to face in the middle of the street and a fight. Martinez-Hernandez, The Profer said, was “inexorable” and jumped to Suarez, stuck him on the right and walked through an artery.
Martinez-Hernandez stabbed him again in the chest and then went home, said prosecutors.
After he was stabbed, Suarez dropped a closed folding knife, but officials said the video showed that he never reached the weapon or waved it during his interactions with Martinez-Hernandez.
Storal injured, Suarez sought help from two dog cups who treated his dog in a nearby van, but they did not know what was happening, so they closed the doors and called Suarez’s wife, the provider said. She found Suarez next to the care car, seriously injured.
Researchers were able to identify Martinez-Hernandez from security video and they briefly arrested him in his apartment, according to public prosecutors. They restored a knife from his home.
The prosecutors said he admitted that he had stabbed Suarez, but claimed that he acted in self -defense.
“That is not supported by the video evidence,” said the state’s offer.
Judge Shauna Boliker ordered Martinez-Hernandez to hold pending trial on accusation of murder in the first degree.
