A 27-year-old man was stabbed to death on a beach in a small, quiet Long Island Waterfront community on Tuesday morning, the police said.
Carlos Lopez, from Central Islip, was discovered around 6.30 am with stab wounds on his body near the banks of a beach at the end of Blue Point Avenue in the picturesque hamlet of Suffolk County of Blue Point, Cops said.
A passer -by saw the body and reported the police, the authorities said.
Lopez was declared dead on the spot.
Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad Detectives examine the deadly stabbing.
There was no information available on a suspect or motive.
