Man accused of shooting victim after fighting in the nightclub of Chinatown

Chicago – A man from Chicago is accused of attempted murder because she is said to shoot another man during a dispute outside a nightclub in Chinatown at the weekend. Terris Williams, 31, is planned to appear before a judge on Tuesday for a detention hearing in the Leighton Criminal Courthouse.

Cops responded to calls from Schoten that were fired around 2:07 in the 400 block of West 24th Street.

With reference to provisional information, CPD said that the incident started when a 35-year-old man had a fight with different people. The fight broke up and the group spread, but one of the participants picked up a gun and shot the 35-year-old in the buttocks.

CPD said the shooter also fired shots on a 36-year-old man, but he was not injured.

Officers arrested Williams nearby in the neighborhood shortly after arrival on stage. The police said that someone had shot the car window of a guard. They also said that PepperSpray was used in the club, but no extra injuries were reported.

Williams is accused of attempted murder in the first degree, worsened battery that causes a lot of physical injury and worsened battery by discharging a firearm.
