Chicago – A man from Chicago who thought he found his stolen car in a distant gas station far to the south, suffered a shot wound in a shooting with the occupants of the car and was then accused of firing his weapon, according to the court reports.

The police went to Roseland Hospital on January 17 after Rodney Clemons, 23, came in to be treated for Scot Wounds, according to his CPD arrest report. He told them that he found his stolen Genesis at the BP station, 150 West 127th Street, and tried to confront the people in his car. The people shot him down, he reportedly reported.

But when the police rated the video of the gas station, they saw something completely different, according to the report. Clemons arrived at the passenger seat of a Buick around noon, got out and started shooting at the people in the Genesis, according to CPD. The occupants shot back.

The origin accelerated and left Clemons without his car (again). Officers of Justice accused him of a heavy discharge from a firearm to an occupied vehicle.

Judge Antara Rivera held him at the request of the state.

CWBCHICAGO was founded in 2013 by five residents of Wigleyville and Boystown who had been discouraged with inaccurate information that was provided during meetings of the local community policing (CAPS). Our coverage area has since been expanded to cover Lincoln Park, River North, De Loop, Uptown and other North Side areas. But our mission remains unchanged: to provide original reporting of public safety with a better context and more detail than regular media. Our editorial e -mail address is news@cwbchicago.com
