Man found guilty of murder in 2021 shooting outside Coors Field

A Denver jury found a man guilty of first-degree murder and second-degree assault Friday after he shot two people, killing one, outside of Coors Field in 2021.

Javon Price, 25, faces a maximum penalty of life imprisonment without the possibility of parole, according to a Denver District Attorney’s Office news release.

“This case is yet another example of the tragic consequences that often result when people try to settle arguments with guns,” DA John Walsh said in the release. “As a result of this verdict, Javon Price will pay a significant price for his actions, as he should.”

Price’s arrest affidavit states that he was a concession worker at the ballpark and left his job early on Aug. 6, 2021, before returning later that evening.
