A man is in custody after the sexual abuse of a 57-year-old woman under shot on board a Blue Line train on the nearby West Side of Chicago, according to a Chicago police, assessed by CWBCHICAGO.
Offications initially responded to a call from a man with a gun that tried to rob people in a train near the western station, 430 Zuidwestern, around 11:23 pm Thursday. A witness sent the police to a 30-year-old man on the platform who tried to hide when spotting officers, according to the CPD report. The police held him and recovered a firearm nearby.
After his detention, a woman reported that the man had forced her to play a sexual act while they were on the train. She stated that he waved a gun, pushed the slide and exposed himself, the report said. The man then put on a condom and said to the victim: “She knew she had to” perform the deed.
The woman met his requirements. After the attack, the man walked down the aisle, the slide of his gun ran out again and shouted: “Where did she?” According to the report.
Provision technicians restored a used condom, a torn condom package and biological evidence that was found on the clothing of the victim and the floor and the wall of the train.
The fiancé of the woman, who was also on the train, confirmed her account, according to CPD.
The police said that the suspect hit two officers when they tried to place him in a transport vehicle. Allegedly “mulekickicked” he one officer in the chest and headed another while he from the Mt a few hours later. Sinai Hospital was transported.
CWBCHICAGO does not identify the man because no charges have been filed yet. Detectives still investigated the case on Saturday morning, said a spokesperson for CPD.
Judicial information indicates that the man received a 11 -year prison sentence in 2019 for a worsened battery from a peace officer. In the same year, the public prosecutors dropped an attempted murder against him related to accusations that he shot shots on an occupied vehicle.
