Chicago – The police are looking for a well -known suspect after a man had been shot in his house in Roscoe Village on Saturday morning.
The 53-year-old victim was at home in the 1900 block of West Roscoe when the man shot him around 8:18 am, according to the Chicago police.
A caller of 911 reported that the shooter was her ex-boyfriend and that he came to the house and shot her roommate in the shoulder, according to police radio traffic. The suspect, who has two convictions of the crime in Cook County, fled the stage on foot.
Officers on the spot said he is middle -old, 35 years old, 5’8 ”long and 145 pounds. He may have worn a khaki pants and a jacket with two colors.
Saturday’s shooting is the first in Roscoe Village since December 2021.
