Images have imposed the moment a young woman was forced to fight a Balaclava-clad stranger who tried to take her off the street.

The moving clip shows Cameron Boxall, 22, who tries to drag his victim of the street in the suburb of Hove, near Brighton in the UK, in a stolen car before he drives away.

The 20-year-old Brit shouted “no, no, no” repeatedly before kicking her attacker while he pulled her in the backseat of a mini-cooper, who ran away while her legs were still hanging out the door.

She kept trying to fight Boxall and hit him until he finally kicked her out of the car. She was then helped by a passer -by who found her in a shock state.

‘Did not deserve what happened’

Boxall has now been imprisoned for five years after a hearing at Hove Crown Court on Friday after he had admitted that he had abducted the woman, stealing a car and possessing marijuana, according to the BBC.

He also received an unlimited limiting order against his victim.

In a statement, the victim of Boxall stated that she felt that she “had lost her freedom,” and added: “I have trouble understanding the level of violence that he was using against me and I feel lucky that I still live”.

“I had bruises and scratches on my back, arms and legs from where he threw me out of the car, and a huge lump on my head,” she added.

“What happened has changed the way I look at the world. I did nothing wrong and did not deserve what happened to me.”

The attempted kidnapping

The court heard that Boxall, then 21, rode in Hove in Hove in the early hours of 5 August 2024 and changed his number plates with that of a car nearby.

He then got out of the car after he selected his victim and asked the woman who was a local for instructions.

Detective Jack Sagar, from the Major Crime team of Surrey and Sussex, called Boxsall a “dangerous, violent perpetrator”.

“(He is a) dangerous predator who hunted a young woman who ran home innocently and spent her through a horrible, disturbing test where she feared for her life,” he said.

“We praise her for the enormous power and courage that she shown during the incident and during our subsequent investigation.”
