Metaphysical portals stand up in forests in the alien paintings of Eli McMullen – Colossal

By the metaphysical spaces between dreams and reality roaming, Eli McMullen Brings out of the fame of suburbs and forested landscapes to offer us in dreamy worlds. Sanitation of the interplay of perception and imagination, his acrylic paintings invite us in moments of wonder and transcendence.

The artist -based artist, based in Richmond, the upcoming solo exhibition, Sleeping walk bee ThinkSpace projectsInvestigates relationships between nostalgia, spirituality, nature and psychological phenomena. He celebrates “fleeting moments that suspend themselves on time, glimmerers who quietly insist to be searched,” says the gallery.

Sleeping walk Wings viewers in nocturnal forest scenes that glow with geometric light forms, altar -like architecture and prismatic reflections. Titles such as “Desire Path Finder”, “Liminal Bridge” and “Kismet Gateway” emphasize the essence of left, portals, metamorphoses and spaces.
