Los Angeles, CA – This Friday evening, November 15, Mistress Cyan will be holding her annual charity ‘Slave Auction’ where subbies, Masters, Mistresses, switches and kink lovers put themselves out there to help those in need.
The annual celebration is a food drive for the homeless and hungry. Guests bring non-perishable food and canned goods in exchange for “auction money” to bid on volunteers who have put themselves up for auction. Sanctuary Studios partners with local food banks and charities to distribute donations after the event.
Those who want to go out for a good cause fill out a questionnaire about their likes and dislikes, which are announced before the bidding begins. This is all for kinky fun. There is no real sex. Everything is negotiated, there is consensus and all safety words are respected.
“This has been a tradition of Sanctuary Studios for the past 27 years,” explains Mistress Cyan, owner and founder of Sanctuary Studios. “The thought of people going hungry during Thanksgiving is a very disturbing thought to me. I have made it my passion to make a difference in as many lives as possible. Over the years, our efforts have inspired local churches and groups to step up and donate to our cause, and as a result, more than 100,000 people have been fed because of what we do.”
Gift cards for groceries, new socks, new underwear and clean blankets are also accepted.
“Sometimes guests get together and pool their money to bid on someone they really like,” Mistress Cyan noted. “The auction is an exciting way to meet new kinky friends. Guests are also welcome to simply bring a donation and stay for the party in our spacious venue with themed playrooms.”
