Two drunk mothers left four young children behind, including a baby, in a car with a large bag of weed while, according to the police, they went to drink in a bar.
The non -created mothers were caught after alarmed spectators A small child around a parking space in Glendale, Arizona, saw running around 11 p.m. on 8 March without parents, according to the police who recently released video of the interaction.
“We found her going up and down here,” said a woman who marked the police about the girl. “She took us to the car.”
Police officers then found three crying children-including a 7-month-old baby and another in a car seat-in the vehicle.
“Within the car, officers found a bag of marijuana in the glove box – within reach of the children,” said the police, with the video that one of the officers showed and asked, “Seriously?”
The responding officers spent at least 45 minutes looking for the parents of the children before two women walked up and said they were the mothers of the children, the department said.
“Both smoke for alcohol” and “had an unclear speech,” the police said.
The video shows an officer who tells the women: “Hey, your children have been here for hours.”
“Hours?” One of the mothers replies before they claim that they only went to Salt Tacos Y Tequila Bar to ‘go to the bathroom’.
“Did you go to a bar?” The incredibly sounding agent asks-with one of the women who then admit: “We did get something.”
The second mother, who stumbles over her words, tries to tell the officer that they had only put in the bar for 15 minutes.
“That’s a lie,” the officer told her. “We have been with these children for more than 45 minutes.”
The first mother gets overwhelmed by emotion and tries to explain that she didn’t have her phone and she “really just thought it was 10 minutes” that they were gone.
“Please don’t take my children away from me,” she begged. “As serious, they are the only things I have. I know this is super, super bad, I promise … My heart is about to explode,” she tells the officer.
Both women were arrested and accused of child abuse with criminal negligence.
The children were taken to the hospital by Glendale Fire for a check.
The police have not identified the women who have suspended their persecution while participating in a parenting skills crime diversion program, According to 12 news.
