Motorola has officially announced the Edge 60 merger, the stylish middle-class smartphone rival of the Samsung Galaxy A36.
Motorola India has confirmed that the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion will be launched on 2 April, just over a week from today.
It also tipped his hand with regard to some of the most important functions and specifications of the telephone. Count us deeply.
Motorola Edge 60 Fusion: Clear colors guaranteed
In a summary of five top reasons to get the Motorola Edge 60 fusion, the company leads with its clear and sharp curved display. The 6.7-inch screen of the Fusion will reach a resolution of 1.5k and a peak clearance of 4500 Nits (1400 Nits in HBM).
That is quite the upgrade of the Motorola Edge 50 Fusions FHD+ and 1600 Nits respectively. It will also achieve a segment-best screen-to-body relationship of 96.3%.
The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion will also pack an impressive main camera, with a similar 50MP Sony Lyt 700C sensor like that in the OnePlus 13R. Motorola claims that the view on the sensor has been validated by Color-Matching Company Pantone.
This will be accompanied by a 13MP Ultra-wide camera, of which it seems that will also be able to macro recordings. There is a 32MP selfie camera at the front for 4K video recording.

Motorola Edge 60 Fusion: built to make the last place
Another striking feature of the Motorola Edge 60 fusion will be sustainability.
Just like the Moto G75 (shown below), the Fusion Mil-810H certification has received. This means that it has been spent with a test process of the US military quality that it exposes to extreme environments.
It also has both IP68 and IP69 certification. The last specification is even something that you will find in most flagship phones and must ensure an advanced level of water resistance.
The Display of the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion is covered by Gorilla Glass 7i.

Motorola Edge 60 Fusion: AI-reinforced performance
The next is the performance, with the Motorola Edge 60 merger that runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chip.
This is a brand new chip that was only announced last month, built on a 4NM process. It is supported by 8 or 12 GB RAM and there is standard 256 GB storage with a maximum of 1 TB MicroSD expansion.
Motorola claims that this will penetrate the Edge 60 fusion with the “Segment’s Best AI experience”.
Moto AI on the Edge 60 Fusion will be able to catch up on missed reports and invoke memories with a prompt. It will also be able to transcribe, translate and summarize recordings.
All types of AI functions that we have seen elsewhere, of course, but not so much to the cheaper end of the smartphone market.

Motorola Edge 60 Fusion: other specifications
Motorola lists a number of other specifications in this Edge 60 Fusion Pre-Reveal. It is set to a larger than average 5500 mAh battery and load 68W wired.
The company promises OS upgrades and four years of security updates for three years, which is perhaps the only area that is clearly short of the Samsung Galaxy A36 and its six-year promise.
Otherwise the Motorola Edge 60 merger becomes an excellent middle class smartphone. Hopefully the company can hold the landing.
