Motorola has announced the Edge 60 Stylus, a budget -smartphone -alternative for the Galaxy S25 Ultra, but we are not yet completely ready to celebrate.
The phone has a solid specification together with a bundled stylus at a knock -down price, but it is currently only announced for the Indian market.
What is the Motorola Edge 60 Stylus?
In addition to an integrated stylus – the only 2025 telephone that contains something like that, apart from the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra – the Motorola Edge 60 Stylus has the characteristic vault of the company, as well as fast 68W chargers and 256 GB storage.
We are a bit worried about the somewhat weedy-sounding Snapdragon 7S Gen 2-Processor that drives the phone, even with its cheap prices. There is a battery of 5000 mAh on board, which is pretty good when you consider that the phone has to house a stylus.
The camera now has a 50MP Sony Lytia 700C main sensor and a 13MP Ultra-Wide.
All this makes the Motorola Edge 60 Stylus sounds a lot like the Motorola Edge 50-merger, albeit with a slightly lesser 6.67-inch 120Hz Pold screen, and with the addition of 15W wireless charging. It also follows a recent Motorola trend for unusually strong built quality, with both IP68 and MIL-STD-810H certification.
Another small care is to offer only two OS -Upgrades and three years of security updates. But again, however, we have to take into account the price required – and it is a low.
Motorola Edge 60 Stylus Price and Availability
The Motorola Edge 60 Stylus comes with an impressively low price of RS. 22,999, which gets the sting from some of those lesser specifications.
That amounts to around £ 200 when we talk about a direct currency version. It is probably more useful to note that the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion was launched in India for a higher price of RS. 24,999, and that this phone was on the British market at £ 299.99.
If the Motorola Edge 60 Stylus ever comes to the West, then we might be able to look at a cost in the region of £ 279.99. That is much less than the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra’s £ 1,249 asking price.
Of course, estimating on the basis of Indian prices touches the core of the problem here. We are not yet sure if we will see the Motorola Edge 60 Stylus in the UK or Europe. We will keep an eye on this.
