Specifications for the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion have been leaked, promising a cheaper alternative to the highly anticipated Motorola Signature.
We’ve seen the Motorola Edge 70 and heard a lot about the Motorola Edge 70 Ultra – or rather, the Motorola Signature. Now it’s the turn of the entry-level model of the series, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion, to make its appearance.
Respected tipster Evan Blass (aka @evleaks) has taken to X to post some specs for the upcoming Motorola Edge 70 Fusion, apparently codenamed ‘Avenger’.
Blass claims that this mid-range smartphone will run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, which we previously saw running with the Nothing Phone (3a) and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G. This is supported by 8 or 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.
If there was any doubt, this confirms that the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion is going to be an affordable phone again. The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion launched at £299.99, and we can’t see the successor increasing that too much.
Motorola Edge 70 Fusion display and design
That said, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion’s display appears to be quite an upgrade. If these rumors are true, it will be a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED with a boosted peak brightness of 5200 nits, HDR10+ support and a higher peak refresh rate of 144 Hz.
On the front there is Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, which curves away on each edge. Motorola’s signature nylon and linen-inspired back material returns in five colors: Orient Blue, Sporting Green, Blue Surf, Country Air and Silhouette.
Just like before, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion will be more than a pretty face. Expect some impressive design certification ratings, including MIL-STD-810H, IP68 and IP69.

Motorola Edge 70 camera, battery and software
All we know about the main camera at the moment is that it will use a 50MP Sony Lytia sensor, with a 32MP front camera.
We also hear that it will include an impressively large 7,000mAh battery and 68W wired charging.
About the only spec we’re mildly concerned about here is the promise of just three major OS upgrades, much like the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion. It’s a bit behind the best, even at this end of the market.
The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion was released in early April 2025, so we expect to hear something solid about the sequel in the coming months.
