“At MoxiWorks, our focus is to evolve from a leading legacy software provider to the Go-To Real Estate Sales and Marketing platform, allowing agents to find, win and close more deals,” said Eric Elfman, CEO of MoxiWorks. “The sale of Moxibalance is due to our strategic transformation to offer innovative software solutions that adapt to the ever -changing needs of agents.”
Moxibalance – who manages almost $ 2 billion in real estate transaction volume for more than 150 brokers, two franchises and 20,000 agents in the US and Canada – will be reversed as Vero.
ISHTYAQ AHMED, the general manager of the platform, will become a member at the front as a chief product officer. Ahmed previously led growth efforts for Moxibalance, whereby improvements in its user experience and expansion to the Canadian market was supervised.
“As a former head of Moxibalance, I saw first -hand the potential with dedicated focus,” he said. “That is why I am very happy to join forces with in advance, a company that is built up from the ground to resolve real financial pain for brokers and agents.
“This is not only a new home for moxibalance; it is the next chapter when building the financial infrastructure that real estate always needs.”
Mukund Venkatakrishnan, prior to CEO, said that the acquisition strengthens the company’s mission to deliver financial solutions tailor -made for real estate professionals.
“Moxibalance is a great platform and we are delighted to add (Ahmed) and his 10 years of back-office experience to our team in this deal,” he said.
Pierre Calzadilla, co-founder of Upfront and Chief Operations Officer, said in a statement that “Vero and (Ahmed) are perfectly in line with our mission to bring modern financial services to the real estate sector. We will change the back office from a cost center to a profit center, while bringing new innovations to break, investments, investments and more.”
MoxiWorks and Upfront are planning to maintain a continuous partnership while the companies continue to integrate their solutions for shared customers. MoxiWorks said that the transition will not disrupt the services for current customers.
