“There was a whisper that people are mine. It was just very rough, sexualized – I remember that guys would run to me like “are you shaved?” It was just really sexual and graphic.

“Adults, including teachers, would almost treat me as if I was this kind of sex-gems person.

“I got detention for cuddling my brother because they were from ‘well, will people in the city know that it is your brother? What are they going to think? “

“I learned” to hide if you want to be taken seriously. “

“So I would say that I spent my early teenagers and are probably a bit misogynistic in my twenties because I had learned ‘if you want to be taken seriously, you don’t dress certain ways, and you don’t wear make make – Up and you don’t do all these openly feminine things.

“Sex sells”

After completing the school, Ashley went to the university and then went to work at BBC Radio Cumbria, as well as further jobs as a model for Abercrombie & Fitch, and a manager of ITSU.

But in the restaurant, 25 years old, she became sick of city boys who say: “What is a beautiful girl like you who works behind one to one till?”

After stopping, she went into a TV presentation, where a fellow student who was an extra on Made in Chelsea suggested that she came by.

Although Ashley admits that she came down as a “waste” on reality TV, she decided that she might learn something about television and get contacts, so she went along – and was eventually invited to the show.

“I remember thinking:” How funny will it be for my friends who know that I hate reality TV when I am doing it, “I really thought it would be that one-off thing.

She said: “I remember a brand that said:” We would not work with Ashley, we need someone who is more feminist “. I had something like ‘I am a feminist’.

“I literally only wear clothes on a body. And also “can’t I date?”

“So then I secreted many men in secret.

“I felt that I didn’t want them to have the heat on them.

“I feel so sad, the amount of women who contact me and say:” I would like to wear that, but I ultimately wear clothes that I don’t like because I don’t want people to look at my breasts. “

“It is as if ‘it is not so sad that if women, and as adult women, people feel that they cannot wear certain things because they do not want people to assume that their morality or their sexuality is based on their body type. It is So angry. “
