New Jersey porch pirate caught twerking on ring camera returns to victim's home after video is posted online

This pirate got loot.

A porch pirate who was caught on a Ring doorbell camera twerking after stealing packages from a New Jersey home returned to the victim’s home a few days later to whine about the video posted on internet was installed.

“You can’t make this up,” Gloucester Township police said Wednesday in a Facebook post with video and photos of the wild encounter.

The bizarre footage shows two masked men in hoodies running to the Sicklerville home just after 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 9, police said. One suspect grabbed an Amazon package from the sidewalk, while the other leaned over, flashed his clothes at the camera and twerked before they both ran away.

Among the stolen packages were drinking glasses and baby items worth $74, police said.

Hoping to identify the sticky bandits, the resident posted the footage on the Ring Neighbors app, prompting one of the masked suspects to return to the home two days later.

The suspected porch pirate — who was wearing a sweatshirt with “Hollywood” written on the bottom — ran toward the camera and showed his phone with the original theft video on the screen, the footage shows.

“Come on dude, not cool bro, come on, not cool,” said the embarrassed suspect.

“That’s my a– on the internet.”

The suspect returned to the front door a few minutes later holding one of the stolen glasses – which was broken – and left it in front of the house before fleeing the area again.

“Um, I was going to give this back,” the alleged thief said to the camera, the footage shows.

Gloucester Township police are seeking help identifying the two people in the videos.
