Seattle (December 12, 2024) – Eversense Toys announced the launch of its fundraising campaign on IndieGoGo to support the creation of a new line of sex toys designed for trans*, non-binary, intersex and gender non-conforming bodies.
“Our goal is to transform dysphoric intimate experiences into gender-affirming self-care,” says Matty Hennessey, CEO and founder. “For people physically transitioning, instead of feeling confused about the development of their new body, our team has worked tirelessly to create something that will help them celebrate their true selves. But this does not only apply to transgender people. We also target non-binary and intersex people. We are excited to present it to the public and invite everyone to join us on our mission to create a new community of learning and fulfilling experiences.”
Eversense’s designs are not just exclusive to transgender people who are transitioning. They are also adaptable for cisgender people, people who don’t want to or can’t physically transition, and people who are having gender-affirming procedures. The company’s goal is to get people who are normally excluded from the sex toy industry excited about exploring their bodies. This includes people with disabilities, people of all sizes and our community elders. By creating toys that adapt to as many bodies as possible, Eversense also wants users to be able to buy toys that will work for them at any time, whether they are transitioning or not.
Eversense Toy’s fundraising page is now live! They hope to raise $30,000 by January 24, 2025 to pay for initial production of their first two products, compensate their staff, and allow the company to promote their toys at events in 2025. With this launch, Eversense Toys aims to make toys for marginalized bodies, while creating a new supportive community. The fundraiser can be found HERE.
