A New York Jets player was one of the two people who had been robbed last weekend at the suburbs of New Jersey in what the police say was a targeted robbery, according to a report.
Authorities are now looking for the armed hooligans who reportedly followed the couple more than 30 miles from Manhattan to a house in the Windmill Pond Community before the terrifying holdup Saturday morning, the Morristown Department of Public Safety said on Facebook.
Around 8 o’clock the police responded to the quiet Morristown community after receiving various reports from neighbors of an alleged armed robbery.
A neighbor told NBC 4 New York That one of the victims is an NFL player for the jets.
A witness reported that three men wearing guns come from a dark SUV and robbed two people in a second vehicle, the police said.
“To be honest, I can’t understand what happened,” said a witness who chose to stay anonymous the outlet.
“I saw them take something out of the garage – I thought,” Oh my God, this is a robbery. “
It remains unclear which Jets Player is reportedly robbed.
The alleged thieves left with money and other valuables before fled the stage, the police said, assured that the incident was an isolated issue.

No injuries were reported.
The incident continues to investigate, although no arrests have been made.
“You have high -profile people who are the target when they go into the city and otherwise,” a neighbor told the outlet valve.
“It’s disturbing, but there really is nothing we can do about it. You just have to hope it doesn’t happen anymore. “
The Morristown Department of Public Safety and Morris County Officors Cutors Office did not respond immediately to the request of the position for comments.
