She was also ordered to carry out 120 hours of unpaid work at Westminster Magistrates’ Court today.
The so-called “milkshaking” was a “protest” against Farage’s campaign, the court was told.
In a victim impact statement, Farage said: “Immediately after the incident I felt humiliated.
“I thought deeply that maybe next time it wouldn’t be a milkshake.
“This incident made campaigning more difficult, and that is my job. I was only talking about general tasks.
“Incidents like this deter people from running for public office and that is bad for our democracy.”
He later turned to X to condemn what he called “two-tiered justice.”
The reform leader wrote: “We now live in a country where you can attack a member of parliament without going to jail.
“The latest example of justice on two levels.”
Farage had been in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, in June after announcing he would stand as a candidate at the election when Thomas-Bowen struck.
As he left the Moon and Starfish pub, the model doused him with the thick yellow drink.
He was seen splashing the banana milkshake all over his dark blue suit as he boarded his campaign bus.
Prosecutor Nishma Shah said: “She had seen online advertisements Nigel Farage would be in Clacton-on-Sea… she did not agree with his political views.
“She brought a banana milkshake from McDonald’s and didn’t know whether to throw it or not.
“She was sitting outside the Moon and Starfish pub and decided to do it because she ‘had the chance’.
‘She threw the drink knowing it would go over him, but she didn’t mean for the cup to hit him.
“She acknowledged that the suit needed to be cleaned. She said he could afford it.”
The court was told the reform leader was initially unsure what the liquid was and said the cup had “hit me directly in the face”.
In a police interview, Thomas-Bowen accepted the attack and said she did not regret her actions.
She also previously told The Sun that she refuses to apologize to Farage.
According to her lawyer, Thomas-Bowen has received a number of threats since the attack.
As well as a suspended sentence, the model must pay Farage £150 compensation and £600 costs.
District Judge Tan Ikram said at sentencing that the incident was an “attack on our parliamentary democracy”.
The judge added: “The risks of face-to-face interaction with the public are too obvious, bearing in mind the murders of two other MPs in recent years.
“Those who hold public office are prevented from entering public life.
“It is inevitable that fear has arisen.
“A clear message must go out. Public debate should not be shut down by crime like this.”
The attack was the second time I’m a Celeb star Farage has been targeted with a milkshake.
The Brexiteer was covered in liquid from head to toe when he was in Newcastle in 2019.
