A 4-month-old baby in New Jersey died after a “long-term period” in a hot car and his father has been charged in tragic death, the authorities said.
Researchers did not disclose how long they suspect that the son of Moshe Ehrlich was left on Tuesday in themselves in the Toyota Minivan of the father in Lakewood, when the Temps reached a peak of 63 degrees.
Local news images shows officers around the parked van, which seems to have been left in direct sunlight.
Lakewood Cops received a call from 911 about a non -responding child at around 1:45 pm and officers were sent to a residential block near Fifth Street between Monmouth and Princeton Avenues, near a kosher -super market market and a few synagogues. Ehrlich lives three blocks from where the van was parked.
“Responding officers found Hatzolah Medical Services that tried to provide life-saving help to a 4-month old male baby,” the Ocean County Officor’s Office said.
The boy was transferred to Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus in Lakewood, where he was declared dead.
Investigators finally determined that the boy was left alone [Ehrlich’s] Vehicle for a longer period, said public prosecutors.
Ehrlich was arrested on Thursday and accused of the threat of children after surrendering to the police. He was released hours later by a judge.
The family did not respond to messages.
The name of the baby was not released by researchers.
