Nkechi Diallo, formerly known as Rachel Dolezal, recently addressed news that she was dismissed from her position in an Arizona school district over her OnlyFans account.
She took to her Instagram Story on Friday and wrote “Keep on Living” alongside a selfie.
In a follow-up post on her IG Story, she wrote: “People were asking how they could support. Show some love with an order via my art website.” She also added a link to RachelDolezal.com.
On Wednesday, news surfaced that she had been fired from the Catalina Foothills School District in Tucson, Arizona, where she had been contracted to work in an after-school teaching position from August 2023 to May 2024.
She was let go when it emerged she had a social media page linking to her OnlyFans.
“We only learned of Ms. Nkechi Diallo’s Only Fans posts on social media yesterday afternoon,” wrote Julie Farbarik, the school district’s director of alumni and community relations. “Her posts violate our district’s ‘Social Media Use by District Employees’ policy… and our Staff Ethics Policy. She is no longer employed by the Catalina Foothills School District.”
As Dolezal, Diallo became embroiled in controversy when it was discovered in 2014 that she identified as a black woman. She had risked much of her life for her identity. Previously, she was president of the NAACP chapter in Spokane, Washington, became a civil rights activist, attended Howard University and taught African-American studies at Washington State University. In 2018, the Netflix documentary, The Rachel Divide, captured Diallo’s identity crisis.
In 2017, she also admitted that she was white and said that she started seeing herself as a black woman in 2006.
