A Queens – Man was arrested on Long Island after he had fallen asleep behind the wheel – and then hit the gas when the police woke him up, hit another vehicle and injured a agent, the police said.
Cops found Jeffrey Cabreja, with crack and drug parafernalia, unconscious at the wheel of a blue 2023 Audi that blocked traffic in the middle of Green Acres Road in Valley Stream at 5:15 pm Friday, according to the Nassau County police.
When an officer approached the stopped car in an attempt to help Cabreja, he woke up and stepped abruptly on the gas and accelerated so quickly that he hit a black jeep from 2019 – before he turned.
One agent suffered a shoulder injury during the chaos and was taken to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment.
Cabreja, 30, was also taken to a hospital after the police had taken him out of the Audi fell.
In their investigation, the police discovered that he had no possession or “permission” to control the Audi and to fug him, the police said.

Cabreja is now being accused of driving, while the power is affected, abuse, unauthorized use of a vehicle, criminal possession of a regulated substance and summons of several vehicles and traffic legislation.
He will be confronted with a preliminary guide after he has been cleaned up medically.
