Gorgeous pole vaulter Alysha Newman has seen countless fans subscribe to her OnlyFans account following her Olympic success.
The Canadian, 30, won bronze at Paris 2024, earning praise for her smiley attitude and winning personality.
While her confidence was brilliantly captured by TV cameras when she was caught twerking in celebration after clearing 4.85 meters to earn a medal.
But her OnlyFans subscribers know Newman all too well for her sass on the online adult subscription platform.
The blonde beauty founded her account three years ago, when Covid robbed athletes of visibility at Tokyo 2021.
And since then, her content, including workout sessions, sexy lingerie photo shoots and videos, has remained a huge draw.
Speaking to SunSport about gaining more followers, she revealed: “I felt that with or without the medal, gaining exposure on the global stage would give me an extra fan base.
“I was really excited because I was with people who have been with me since 2021, but now I have all these new fans saying, ‘Oh my god, she was so fun and entertaining.’
“The thing I’ve heard most is people talking about how they’ve never been more interested in women’s pole vaulting, and that makes my heart so excited.
“Because in the past I think it’s true that my personality had more to do with the sport.”
Give the fans what they want
Newman is one of many sports stars who make extra money with OnlyFans.
She charges subscribers £10 a month who have the opportunity to view content, some racy, some professional, and interact with her.
Other famous athletes who use OnlyFans include tennis star Nick Kyrgios, ex-UFC fighter Paige Van Zant and boxer Ebanie Bridges.
Newman told SunSport what her fans want to see from her online.
She said: “I always get strange requests.
“I get excited about what people ask, it gives me a good insight into what people think about me.
“A lot of people have asked for pictures of all my medals – they love that kind of thing.
“It’s different things that I never thought would be intriguing, and it shows you how unique and cool the human brain is and how different everyone is.
“So it was fun to create that content so they felt seen.
“I’ll work with my photographers and videographers and say, ‘This person wants to set this up, how can we bring that to life for them?’
“It’s another way to create content for people I’ve interacted with over the past five years.”

Fear of joining OnlyFans
OnlyFans has been accused of selling illegal content, including pornography in the past.
Newman admitted that she initially had reservations about joining the platform.
She told us: “My first conversation was with my family.
“I said, ‘I know there’s a lot of stigma behind this website, and this is new to me, but what do you think?’
“I remember my sister saying, ‘If you don’t try, how are you ever going to find out?’
‘And she was right. If I didn’t pursue it then, I wouldn’t pursue it now. Something clearly resonated with me and it completely changed my life.
“You can be whoever you want. I’ve said over the years that I could be the person to change the stigma about OnlyFans.
“It was important to me to show other athletes that they can get involved and that it can be a safe community.
“That has been an important part of my reporting. Other athletes have seen the content I published and were shocked because they expected it to be different because of their perception of OnlyFans.
“I know I can’t get everyone to change their mind, that’s not my goal.
A lot of people who don’t like what I do are a lot of people I don’t want to take personal opinions from.
“But I have a community that loves and supports me. It’s a safe space where people feel like they can join me on this journey and I can let go of the rest.
“There were a few moments where I had doubts at first and wondered if I should do it.
“But my family told me to stick with it, try it at the Tokyo Olympics and see what you think about it.
“A lot of people who don’t like what I do are a lot of people I don’t want to take personal opinions from.”
Inspiration from her fans
Newman is grateful to her OnlyFans fanbase, who she said gives her strength when she’s feeling down.
“I’ve said this many times: without fans there would be no sport. I know that very well. That medal I received is as much theirs as it is mine,” she said.
“They brought me so much energy, and the people who have been with me since 2021 have only encouraged me.
“They are the ones who have told me, ‘You’ve got this’ on days when I didn’t feel my best.
“It was a platform that I never expected to like more than all the other platforms.

“It was just something I wanted to share with other people when Covid came and no one could be at the Tokyo Olympics, and it has had a snowball effect.
“It’s a huge community now, which I’m so grateful for.”
