One person dies after a botched drug robbery at an illegal gambling den in New York

Four thugs shot two men at an illegal gambling den in Queens last month — killing one — while pulling out a huge stash of pot, police said as they released photos of the bundled suspects and their getaways.

Yun Li, 37, was at the dice shop on Haight Street near 41st Avenue — just blocks from his Flushing home — on Dec. 19 around 9:20 p.m. when he was shot in the head during the botched drug robbery, authorities and sources said.

Li clung to life in hospital for five days before succumbing to his injuries on December 23, police said.

The violent quartet held “numerous victims” at gunpoint as they burst into the living room and pulled out “several pounds of marijuana,” the NYPD said.

They then opened fire, hitting Li and a 42-year-old man who was shot in the cheek, police said.

The elderly man was also hospitalized and was listed in stable condition.

The NYPD released photos Monday evening of the four suspects, each dressed in winter coats and with skull caps or hoods pulled over their heads.

Authorities also released images of what they described as the suspects’ two getaway cars: a black Dodge Durango and a gray Nissan Pathfinder.

No arrests had been made as of Tuesday.
