The Oppo Find N5 has been announced and it undermines our favorite piece of folding hardware in at least one important way.
We were blown away by the design of the Honor Magic V3, and in particular are 4.35 mm-thin body. However, the Oppo Find N5 has just arrived and has taken its place as the thinnest folding on the market.
Here is the complete overview of the Oppo Find N5, which has just been officially announced in Singapore.
Oppo Find N5 is now the slankest folding around
First let’s claim that headline. With 4.2 mm thick when open, the Oppo Find N5 is now the thinnest double foldable foldable on the market (the tri-fold Huawei Mate XT is 3.6 mm).
It is also the thinnest foldable outright when you consider the closed thickness, and that is how you usually use the phone. The Oppo finds N5 -measuring only 8.93 mm thick in this position, which is about the thickness of a Google Pixel 8a.
The two halves are held together by a titanium flexion hinge, which is said to be 26% smaller and yet 36% more rigid than the previous model.
In the meantime, a weight of 229 g is approximately the same as the Asus Rog telephone 9 Pro. Of course, that is at the top of non-folded telephone weights, but it still falls within those parameters.
Impressive camera specifications
The other striking specification here is the Oppo Find N5’s camera setup of the Hasselblad brand.
This is led by a 50MP 1/1.56 ″ main sensor with OIS and a slightly less than impressive sounding 8Mp ultrawide. However, offering a 50Mp counting camera with a 5.5x optical zoom sounds very strong for a folding.
There is a few identical 8MP selfie cameras, depending on where you use the Oppo N5 open or closed. Of course you can use that 50MP main camera in combination with the external display for performed selfies.

Potentially epic endurance
Another specification that attracted our eye was the Oppo Find N5s 5600MAH battery. That is much larger than that of his folding rivals.
Thanks to the silicon carbon battery technology that we have already seen in the OnePlus 13, so that Oppo can pack more in less.
There is also a healthy loading determination, with 80w superooc wired charging and 50W Airvooc wireless charging.

The rest of the opposition finds N5 specifications
Although the rest of the specifications of the Find N5 are not as striking as those above, they are certainly not found.
There is a 6.62-inch LTPO OLED on one external half, with a resolution of 1140 x 2616, a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak clearance of 2450 Nits.
The internal display is a large 8.12-inch LTPO OLED, again with a refresh rate of 120Hz, but with a resolution of 2248 x 2480 and a 2100 Nits peak brightness.
This is also not foldable that is stopped by sub-bar performance such as the Huawei Mate X6, thanks to the offering of a Snapdragon 8 elite processor. This is accompanied by 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage.
How much does the Oppo N5 costs find?
The Oppo finds N5 Hits stores on 28 February, with prices from SGD2.499.
We bring you official UK prices if we get it, but that ends up to around £ 1500 when we go with a direct translation. We would expect that it is broadly in the same area as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
