Papa opened the fire with a gun in each hand, covered cover with his 8 children: prosecutors

In shocking accusations, the prosecutors say that a man opened the fire on a Rogers Park Street, fired a gun with each hand and then threw both charged weapons in a nearby Minibus where his eight young children were. And, say prosecutors, the mother of the children also threw a charged shotgun in the vehicle.

Zantarrian Ferguson, 33, and Daphanie Johnson, 32, are each accused of illegal possession of a weapon and eight counts of children’s threat. Judge James Murphy both held them.

It all started around 3.30 pm on 27 April when officers in the Rogers Park district (24th) reportedly saw Ferguson firing two guns on three men in the 7600 block of North Ashland.

Ferguson shot a glock gun with his left hand and a mini-a-47 in his right hand and shot the group and used the Toyota Minivan who held his eight children for coverage, a Chicago police report said.

After unloading the non -misered men, Ferguson threw both weapons, which were still loaded, according to the children in the minibus, according to prosecutors. They said Johnson, the registered owner of the Minibus, threw a charged shotgun with the children, while Ferguson was also photographing.

The CPD report referred to Johnson as Ferguson’s wife and said that all children were his. The children, who all have Ferguson or Johnson as their last name, varied in the age of eight months to 12 years.

Johnson would have told officers something by hand: “I did to protect my family,” claiming someone had shot at her.
