A paralyzed veteran of the army who drowned in a swimming pool may have taken his own life because he discovered that his wife had an affair with a pastor, his sister claimed.
Chris Skinner, 41, was found dead in a neighborhood swimming pool in Myrtle Beach, SC, on September 6, 2021.
Both the police and the office of the coroner finally declared a suicide and ended their probes, but the office of the coroner recovered his investigation recently, although there is no suggestion that the false game is.
“It would be fair to say that the coroner reopened the case because there has been evidence [that’s] Come forward that it may not be an accident, ‘Skinner’s sister, Tamra McDermott, told DailyMail.com.
She pointed out conflicting descriptions of how Skinner came into the pool of the police and coronal reports, despite the fact that both parties have viewed the same CCTV images.
While the coroner wrote that Skinner seemed to have come too close to the edge of the swimming pool and driven in, the police report he had stopped at a bend in the swimming pool before he suddenly moved forward and the water went into the water.
There is also a new testimonials that contradict the evidence that the wife of Skinner Suzie and others at that time gave the police, said McDermott.
“When we look at the police reports and Coroner reports, it is clear that there was some inconsistency. It was also recognized that part of what was said [the] Scene can be inaccurate, “she said without working out.
Skinner became a quadriaplegic at the age of 20, a year after he had been to the army, due to a car accident. He and Suzie fell in love when she was assigned to him as his physical therapist while he recovered.
Two weeks before the death of Skinner, he confronted controversial pastor John-Paul Miller, 44, and demanded Miller an end to his alleged affair with Suzie.
Miller’s wife, Mica Miller, 30, was discovered dead on April 27 last year in Lumbee River State Park, NC of a self -inflicted shot wound days after she had requested a divorce from her pastor Hubby.
In November the FBI searched the house of John-Paul Miller, although the reason is unknown.
Miller has repeatedly denied having an affair with Suzie Skinner.
But earlier this month, Suzie admitted to the affair as part of a separate legal case that Miller has confronted with regard to allegations that he raped a girl, 15, in 1998 – a crime that he strongly denies.
Chris Skinner dropped out with Miller’s Church, Solid Rock Mienistries, and with Miller himself, about four to five months before his death, after three years of attending worship there, McDermott said.
“Chris has absolutely expressed that he didn’t like the pastor of that church, and he stopped there to church,” said McDermott.
“He had some emotional pain and he had a hard time … He pulled himself away and distance.”
At the time of the death of Skinner, researchers did not spoke to McDermott or his parents, despite the fact that they all lived in Myrtle Beach, after they were wrongly told that Skinner had no family in the city, McDermott claimed.
“In essence, the police took the word of the people who were on stage at the time,” she said.
Skinner’s case is reopened as a “direct result” of his association with Miller, because of a huge public interest in Mica’s death, McDermott said.
“This exposure has led to a considerable number of witnesses emerging,” she said.
She now hopes that the truth will come out about the death of her brother.
“I just want the truth because the truth heals, and then it results in peace, and I would like to feel peacefully when I think of my brother’s death,” she said.
“To be honest, Chris is one of the most resilient people I have ever known. He just pushed everything through.”
A representative for the coroner of Harry County told the post on Monday: “In response to your questions about this case, the office of the coroner is separate from the research of the Myrtle Beach Police Department.
“Our case is currently opening.”
Solid Rock Mines did not respond to mail requests for comments.
