Chicago-a man who got a 6-year attempt at a murder judgment to stab a man nine times during an argument at North Avenue Beach in 2017 is back in custody. Prosecutors say that Pablo Sosa stabbed another man at the end of last year during an argument in the suburbs.
In June 2017, SOSA made a conversation with a 25-year-old man on the beach and they talked about an hour. Then the men started to fight physically, and Sosa brought out two knives, which he used to stab the other man, officials said.
Bystanders and police caught in Sosa while he fled on his bike. A man hit and stabbed Sosa with a broken bottle.
He eventually argued guilty of attempted murder and received a prison sentence of 6 years in 2020. State reports show that he was suspended in July 2022.
Now public prosecutors say that SOSA stabbed a 53-year-old man during an anger incident in des Plaines on October 11. According to a WGN TV reportThe police said that SOSA rode on his bike west on Miner Street while the victim drove past. An argument between the men became physically and SOSA hit and stuck the victim through an open window to the driver, the report said.
Researchers identified SOSA via video, witness statements and analysis of a bicycle unit police found on site. He is again accused of attempted murder.
