Imagery obtained by 7 News Sydney shows a commuter train passing the adjacent line moments later, with the two officers exiting the BMW without assistance.
The officers reportedly suffered minor injuries, with their vehicle removed from the train tracks shortly afterwards.
The motorcyclist – who police allege was not pursued despite the vehicle’s high speed and flashing lights and sirens – drove away from the scene.
Police are appealing for anyone who has dashcam footage or witnessed the incident to come forward and assist with the investigation.
