New Pyth Integration brings live ETF prices for Defi -builders

Pyth Network has introduced real-time priceFeeds for Exchange-related Fund (ETF), giving blockchain developers and financial platforms access to live prices for some of the world’s most traded funds.

According to the announcement shared with Bitcoin.com -Nieuws, the integration includes more than 100 ETFs managed by large financial companies, including BlackRock, State Street and Vanguard.

The team explained that the relocation brings ETF price data to a scale, so that direct, real-time prices are supplied from worldwide trading locations. In contrast to synthetic or mirrored tokens that are often used in the Decentralized Finance (Defi), this is to approach ETF exposure.

According to Pyth Network, the new data set includes a wide range of ETFs on activa classes such as shares, global indices, raw materials and fixed -income income. It also includes strategies based on dividends, exposure to sector and growth or value styles.

Network data comes from global financial institutions and trading platforms, aimed at reducing dependence on expensive traditional market data providers. Mike Cahill, CEO of Douro Labs, a contribution to the network, said that the current data ecosystem is structurally exclusively, with reference to ICE’s $ 1.4 billion in annual data income.

“Nasdaq’s data income has more than doubled over the past decade, while in 2023 ICE alone achieved $ 1.4 billion in 2023,” Cahill noted.
