A convicted rapist was arrested on Friday for alleged furious to hit a mother aware on Randall’s island – and he called 911 to report the attack himself, according to police sources.
Miguel Jiraud, 30, was on conditional release for a rape order and wore his single monitor during the common abuse of May 16, who held the 44-year-old Diana Agudelo, according to the sources.
Allegedly in an ambush in an ambush from Agudelo and confused her while she walked along the cycle path around 11:30 pm at 600 E. 125th St., the police and sources said.
Afterwards, the sick suspect bizarre reported the beating to 911 and fled, sources said.
Jirraud, who had lived on a hiding place on Randall’s Island, was accused of attempted murder, Cops said.
Agudelo suffered facial fractures – including a cracked skull and a broken nose – in what NYPD chef of Detectives Joseph Kenny called “one of the worst strokes I’ve ever seen.”
The mother was brought to Elmhurst Hospital in critical condition, who did not respond.
Agudelo’s daughter, Stephanie Rodas, told The Daily News Earlier this week, her mother’s surgeon gave her only a 1% chance to continue.
“The doctor said there is a 99% chance of a chance of 99%,” said the destroyed 21-year-old.
“We still have faith. I know she is fighting and there are times when she put pressure on my hands when I held her hands.”
Agudelo walked home from her work in the museum of the city of New York on Fifth Avenue when she was attacked, Rodas said.
She and her brother learned what had happened the next day when their mother’s colleagues came to look for her after she did not come to work.
Agudelo’s e-bike, jacket, glasses and backpack with her wallet in it all are still missing after the attack, she said.
Her children were stunned when they saw her beat in a pulp in the hospital.
“She was so swollen that you couldn’t even recognize her. I didn’t even recognize my own mother when I saw her,” Rodas said the newspaper on Wednesday.
“She couldn’t even move. She couldn’t talk. She was at a livelihood. She was a bloody mess.”
Jirraud was convicted of a rape of February 2011 in which he dragged a victim from a lift in a Bronx building and, according to sources, sexually abused her.
He was sentenced to 12 years in prison in 2013, according to prison travels.
Jirraud was released in August on conditional release, which will run in 2040, according to the sources.
