Chicago – prosecutors have accused a man of using a key and a gun to beat a man twice as old during an armed robbery and then accidentally leave his own wallet at the crime scene.
The robbery took place around 8:20 am on 10 February in the 600 block of North Laramie, but the Chicago police recently arrested the 36-year-old Andre Moses to be sued in the case.
The prosecutors said the 67-year-old victim was outside his house when Moses hit him in the head with a large crescent key and then chased him for a few minutes around a parked car and on the other side of the street.
In the end, Moses pushed the victim to the ground and he went twice on the right side of his head, according to a detention-petition. Moses took the man’s keys and phone away with his car, said a police report in Chicago.
But he also left his wallet behind and the victim confirmed that the man who was seen in a driver’s license in the wallet was the same man who robbed him, officials say.
Last week, researchers set up supervision of Moses’ House and took him in custody to make accusations of armed robbery and theft of a victim older than 60, according to the report.
Judge Luciano Panici, Jr. granted the detention of the state and called the attack ‘common’.
CWBCHICAGO was founded in 2013 by five residents of Wigleyville and Boystown who had been discouraged with inaccurate information that was provided during meetings of the local community policing (CAPS). Our coverage area has since been expanded to cover Lincoln Park, River North, De Loop, Uptown and other North Side areas. But our mission remains unchanged: to provide original reporting of public safety with a better context and more detail than regular media. Our editorial e -mail address is news@cwbchicago.com
