Rubi Roos remains adamant about that Drake featured her on ‘7AM on Bridle Path’, a standout track from God’s 2021 sixth album Certified Loverboy.
In the text in question, Drizzy described one of his watches as a “ruby pink two-tone,” prompting Rose to believe the sentence was actually about her.
While Drake hasn’t confirmed or denied that he was referring to Rose, that hasn’t stopped Rubi from calling it her favorite name-drop.
During a recent interview with Complex, Rose mentioned “7AM on Bridle Path” when asked to name her favorite time to be called out in a song.
“My favorite time someone mentioned me in their song,” Rose reflected. “They’re two different ones because some people say he wasn’t talking about me. But he was clearly talking about me. When Drake said ‘the two-toned Rubi Rose.’ The one because it’s fucking Drake.”
She also mentioned Rob49’s scream on his song “Hate It or Love It.” “It’s cute. It’s funny. I’m flattered,” she said.
After making memorable appearances in the music videos of Migos‘ “Bad and Boujee” and Cardi B‘s ‘WAP’, Rubi cemented her status as one of the hottest rookies in the game with her debut mixtape, For the streets. The project, released in December 2020, featured her breakthrough hit “He In His Feelings,” as well as guest appearances from Cardi, Future and PartyNextDoor.
Since then, things have been quiet on the rap front as she transitioned into a lucrative one career on OnlyFans.
