When it comes to folding telephones in Flip-style, is the first company that most people think of Samsung.
And with good reason: the Galaxy Z Flip Line of the company helped modern Flipphones to continue in the mainstream, even if most of the best phones are still traditional Clamshell devices.
With regard to Tech Advisor, Samsung does not have the title of the best Flip telephone. That price goes to Motorola’s Razr 60 Ultra, so Samsung has something to catch up.
Although last year’s Galaxy Z Flip was a bit overwhelming, it seems that there is enough to be enthusiastic about the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Flip 7 Fe.

Samsung apparently launches the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Flip 7 Fe next to the Z Fold 7 during an event in New York City at the beginning of July 2025.
The company has a series of Samsung health events in the city, with the first place on July 13. Can we see the devices launch?
If that turns out to be true, it would be a little earlier than last year’s launch, which was on 10 July. As usual, we can expect the devices to go to sale shortly after they are announced.
The company would start production of the Z -Flip 7 on April 30 on April 30, and a version of the Samsung Internet -Browser has officially called it, which feels that the device is not far away.
After being known in some reports as the ‘Z Flip Fe’, the cheaper alternative of the Z Flip 7 on NBTC certification appeared as the ‘Z Flip 7 Fe’, which suggests that this will be the last name.

How much does the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 cost?

The Galaxy Z Flip starting prices have remained fairly consistent for a while:
And it seems that this year it will be a similar story, with the regular Z -Flip 7 that reportedly has the same prices as its predecessor in “Most Markets”.
That will probably include the UK and the US, which means that it would undermine its most important rival in the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra (from £ 1,099/$ 1,299).
The starting price of £ 1,049/$ 1,099.99 is expected to get 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage, while a more expensive model will double the last to 512 GB.

Regarding the Z Flip 7 Fe, leaked Korean prices suggest that the telephone costs 1,485,000 WFD. That translates into about £ 800/$ 1,100, although these direct conversions are rarely accurate.
Another report suggests that the phone in Europe costs less than € 1,000.

What specifications and functions does the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 have?

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Flip 7 Fe is expected to launch soon, and there are numerous rumors and leaks about what to expect from the next Flipphones from Samsung.
Design
The head of the mobile division of Samsung has reportedly informed engineers of making a folding phone as slim as the series of the Galaxy, aimed at a thickness of almost 8.4 mm when closed.
However, it does not seem that that device will be the Galaxy Z Flip 7. Rumors suggest that the phone will be 6.94 mm thick (minus the camera culture) when opened, the same as the Z Flip 6.
Elsewhere, CAD Renders (since removed) showed a device that is very similar to last year’s handset.
Regarding the Galaxy Z Flip 7 Fe, the design is also expected to be very similar to the Z Flip 6.

Reproduction
The Galaxy Z Flip 7 can introduce foled (phosphorescent OLED) technology in its display. It is expected to make reduced power consumption possible, thanks to better luminous efficiency compared to the Amoled displays that are currently being used.
However, challenges in the development of blue Pholed materials can slow down their complete integration into the folding attitude of Samsung after this year.

In terms of the benchmark, it is rumor that both the cover and the interior screens are 0.1 inches larger than the Z Flip 6, respectively at 3.6 inches and 6.8 inches. Both would still be smaller than the RAZR 60 Ultra, with 4-inch and 7-inch panels.
However, a separate message with a “cover display on full screen” suggests that there could be a greater increase in the size of the Cover screen of the Z Flip 7.
The fold of the Z Flip 7 will supposedly “a little less striking” than the Z fold 7, although it is not clear how it will relate to the Z Flip 6.
The Z Flip 7 Fe is expected to have the same display as the Z Flip 6, apart from a lower maximum brightness of 1900 nits.

Performance
According to a “high-ranked Samsung Electronics Official” and various news broadcasts, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will be powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 2500 processor, instead of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8-Elite.
The Exynos 2500, built on Samsung’s SF3 3NM process, would contain a CPU with 10 Core CPU with configurations of a Prime core of 3.3 GHz, two 2.75 GHz high-quality cores, five 2.36 GHz-Kernen and two 1.8 GHZ EfficientigiëntigiTentigiTentigiTentigiTentigiTentigiTentigiTentigiTentigiTentigiTentigiTentigiTentigiTentigientigiTentigiTentigiTentigiTentigiTentigiTentigiTentigiTentigientigiTentigientigiTentiTiTiTiTiTiTiTiTiTiTiTiTeFiciency. Although not yet confirmed, the Z Flip 7 is expected to be available in comparable configurations such as its predecessor- 12 GB RAM and 256 or 512 GB of storage.
There are conflicting rumors about the chipset of Z Flip 7 Fe. The Exynos 2400, Exynos 2500 and Snapdragon 8 elite are all mentioned.

Cameras
One of the most exciting rumors around the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is the potential addition of a telephone camera to join the existing head and ultrawide.
More recent leaks, however, indicate Samsung that held with the same 50MP main and 12Mp ultrawide, without room for a special zoom lens.

The primary camera has already seen a bump from the 12MP to a 50MP sensor with the launch of the Z-Flip 6, which improves the overall image quality and the performance with little light. As such, only small tweaks on that camera would be the most logical.
There are no changes to the 10MP Internal Camera of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 rumors, so the same sensor is probably at this stage. You use the main or ultrawide camera to take selfies anyway.
It is said that the Z Flip 7 FE also gets a 50MP main camera, but the specifications of other lenses are currently unknown.

Battery and charging
It does not look like loading speeds on the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will get upgrades.
Certification lists on the 3C office of China seem to confirm that the Z Flip 7 (Model SM-F7660) supports 9V/2.77a, which corresponds to the same 25W loading speed as its predecessor. The phone is said to be sent without a charger, but will remain compatible with the aging EP-TA800 adapter from Samsung, which was originally introduced with the Galaxy S10.
Nothing has been revealed with regard to wireless charging, so we expect this to stay at 15W.

However, what changes is the battery capacity: the Z Flip 7 is expected to receive a modest bump compared to the Z -Flip 6s 4000 mAh cell. One source suggests 4174mah, while the other says 4300 mAh.
Anyway, it is probably down compared to the RAZR 60 Ultra’s 4700MAH capacity. It is also still a shortage of the 4,500 mAh threshold that Samsung seems to require before it switches on 45W chargers, as can be seen on other devices such as the Galaxy A36.
The potential battery capacity of the Z -Flip 7 Fe is reportedly 4000 mAh, while it is expected that 25 W wire and 15 W wireless charging. That is identical to the Z Flip 6.
With the potential integration of the aforementioned foled technology, the total power consumption could decrease, which means that the battery can last longer on one load, despite the compact form factor of the phone.
Samsung remains careful when using silicon-carbon battery technology, which makes larger capacities possible without increasing the physical size of the phone.

Software
With Android 16 now available on pixel telephones, the Z Flip 7 phones are expected to send the skin of Samsung based on it: one onion 8.

Leaking suggest that one onion 8 will be a huge overhaul compared to previous versions. Expect a redesigned user interface with new icons, animations and improved multitasking options, tailored to folding devices.
Hopefully all flagship Galaxy AI functions will reach both models, but that has not been unveiled at this stage.
Although not confirmed, expects Samsung to continue with its leading commitment for seven years of OS and security updates for the regular Flip 7. The Flip 7 FE will probably get at least six years, but can match its more premium brother or sister.
